My story about the Afitis hotel will be quite brief. We did not succeed in evaluating all the advantages of the hotel, because the hotel administration, represented by the son and father, refused all our requests and said that if something does not suit us, then we can look for another place. (Which we did)
We arrived at Afitis in the late afternoon. Greece was suffocatingly hot that day. The first thing we discovered was the lack of a remote control for the air conditioner. We went to the reception and began to ask him to bring to the room. We were promised but never delivered. On the morning of the next day, we still managed to get a remote control. But, as it turned out, that the air conditioner is not working properly. At our request, the hotel manager - the owner's son - answered evasively, who will fix the air conditioners on Monday afternoon, when all of Greece is open until three o'clock? In Thessaloniki, even the shops are closed? ! We haven't heard anything like this before! On the very first night, we also discovered that the mattress in the room was somehow wet. That is, when we went to bed, the sponge got wet and the bed became damp. The mattress was soaked in water! And the owner refused our request to change the number: “We really don’t like Russian clients. They are the most picky. They're all wrong. "
The apogee was a chance meeting with the Russian-speaking staff of the hotel. At the moment of our conversation with the manager, two men approached him, one of whom was a cook, and the other a massage therapist. People left this place after working there for only three days. As it turned out, they were settled in a building of the century before last, where repairs were not made for many years and snakes crawled around the house, they were put on the same bed! Can you imagine the state of normal workers who have to sleep in the same bed with a stranger? ! They said that the attendants in this place are fed only once a day, at 22 pm, and they are not even given knives, apparently considering them second-class people. That cooks are forbidden for some unknown reason to drink water during the day. . And the other day the owner locked one of the waiters in the basement for the night, demanding payment, after he had worked for him for several weeks and decided to quit!

The owner of the hotel, apparently, creates these unbearable working conditions for the purpose of staff turnover, he simply does not want to pay for the work of these people who find themselves out of work in the conditions of the Greek crisis!
Lord! Everything that is written is true. Do not believe it, go to the Afitis hotel and you will see everything with your own eyes.
