They advised me to go to Greece only through the tour operator Mouzenidis Travel. Yes, I read reviews on the Internet, it seems that everything is really good with them. I was going to rest with my daughter (5 years old) and my husband, and the trip was not planned in general - my husband unexpectedly offered us a rest.
We did not carefully choose the hotel, we settled on the first one that was more or less suitable for us. It was called Athos Palace, there are only 4 stars.
I would like to share my impressions. Maybe they will help someone make a choice, especially for those who want to travel with children.
And so, they settled us very quickly, helped to lift the suitcases, treated us very carefully. The room is nothing special. The main thing is that it is clean and serviced daily (I even started to leave tea at the end of the holiday)

Excursions did not interest us very much. My daughter is still small, it would be hard for her, but I want to say that the girls from Mouzenidis, who supervised our hotel, offered some activities so unobtrusively and interestingly that it was extremely difficult to refuse. And in general, they went after their "wards" as if they were relatives, they helped in everything.
We spent the whole day at the sea or by the pool (by the way, it is large and very comfortable), we went for a walk to the neighboring town. Naturally, rest with a child makes its own adjustments, and we were not up to discos and bars (although life is still in full swing on the hotel territory! ) Surprisingly, all this “fun rampage” for some reason does not reach the rooms and no problems from the series “your discos prevent us from sleeping” did not arise (apparently everything is so well thought out).
Nutrition is a completely separate issue. For me, it’s not so important to have delicious variety, in the first place I have such things as whether all the products are fresh, whether they cook food for a week in the same oil, and so on. So, in Athos there were no problems with this - everything is fresh, of good quality. They cook delicious. It’s hard to talk about diversity: everything is the most ordinary, they don’t feed the same dishes, but there were no culinary delights that were never repeated either. I don’t know about you, of course, but for me it’s better: the main thing is to eat all the necessary products (fish, meat, vegetables, fruits, etc. ).
Well, the main advantage of this hotel is that it is good to relax here with children. And the playground, and children's animation - in general, there is something to do with your little miracle.
In Athos, we really rested, an excellent hotel - nothing more, but everything that is - at a decent level. I advise.
