Hello! I want to tell you a little about the rest in Greece. My husband and I were in Greece for the first time, we chose a hotel for a long time, we chose Palini, but upon arrival in Greece, Thessaloniki, we were told that they would put us in Athos, I was a little tense. when something changes, it's not good....The tour operator met us without delay, we got about 1 hour and 20 minutes to the hotel. The hotel is a real 4, the room was really small, about 14 sq. m. , but they cleaned, changed towels every day, we had a 3rd floor with a sea view - the view is just gorgeous!! ! I also really liked the food, a large selection of meat products, cheeses, few vegetables and fruits, but there were salads. Everything is quite tasty, even the first courses. In general, there was enough food. The territory is very green, and there is where to take a walk outside the hotel, nearby there is a wild beach and a small hill, shops, about 1.5-2 km is a village where there are all kinds of shops, cafes, taverns....Internet - paid - 1 hour 5 euros, but not the fact that you will use it, even if you pay....I paid for this service, but unfortunately..... My advice, if you need internet, but do not be too lazy to take it with you for a walk in the village laptop, almost many cafes and taverns have free WI-FI. Now a little about excursions - they are quite expensive, but worth it. We took an excursion to Meteora (and if the guide Panaetis Dmitrievich goes with you, you will be fabulously lucky) and Soloniki to the holy places (you will visit many temples and monasteries where the relics of saints are located, take a container for water with you because there are many sources) - it’s impossible to tell everything....very, very impressed! We look forward to visiting this country more than once in the future....
P. S. The road back, in the sense of the airport in Thessaloniki, is a mess....First, we weighed our luggage and issued a boarding pass, but they didn’t take our luggage, and we carried it to the other end of the airport, where it was checked and handed over to the luggage compartment, then one passport control , Duty free and after the second passport control, and the most interesting thing is that there were sooooooo many tourists, and few staff working... Perhaps when you rest, everything at the airport will change for the better! I wish you a wonderful holiday and always good mood!
