I'll start with the background: we went on vacation to the Athos Palace Hotel on 07/07/13. after reading negative reviews. When we bought a ticket, they didn’t think at all to monitor the sites. Of course, the mood was at zero, we arrived early in the morning, we were met by the smiling girls of the tour operator at the airport, then we were also met at the hotel, they greeted us warmly, helped us fill out the card, I want to note that a lot of us arrived, ten people at the same time. At that moment, it became clear that not everything was as bad as it seemed at first. We did not expect an early check-in, we were warned that the rooms would be issued as soon as they were ready. We made an appointment at eleven in the morning. A lot of people came (there were races after us), someone immediately began to show their displeasure, but the girl answered questions simply and with a smile, this could not but bribe. After the meeting, we immediately went to the reception desk and we are so lucky roofing felts, but almost everyone was given the keys to us (as they explained, there was an early check-out). I don’t know how long others waited, but we went up to the room, clean, modest, of course, but we counted on it in advance, the price is quite consistent, and in general, we arrived at the seaside! The sea here is clean and warm, the living creatures pleased, be sure to go and feed the turtles. The backwater with them is located behind the neighboring beach of the Feofano Five Hotel, in my opinion.
Nutrition. They feed a lot, meat and plenty of everything, it's only a shame that fruits are always cut into several pieces, but on the other hand, what's the difference? Trays with them are changed regularly. We took half board, so we always had to order drinks for dinner, a little expensive, but that's what the rest is for. At lunch, on the recommendation of hotel guides, we went to Kallithea, went to a pizzeria across the road. We visited Afytos a couple of times - a lovely village nearby, some thousands of years old.
Sea. We swam until we dropped, we didn’t want to get out of the water. For the sake of the sea and nature, you can come back here more than once!

Service. Service in the hotel and restaurant is good. Once they forgot the key in the room, we were given another without any problems, without any additional payment at all, by the way, very convenient.
Well, in the end, it is worth mentioning the departure. We also flew out early in the morning, but, in spite of everything, at 4.30 in the morning we were escorted by a representative from Mouzenidis. I have not seen this anywhere!
So go ahead and enjoy. It’s worth reading reviews, but it’s best not to spoil your mood, but to see for yourself!
