Halkidiki is a great place if you are traveling for a long time, as it is a large piece of Greece and there is something to see: the “fingers” peninsulas, the mainland with Thessaloniki at the head. I went for a long time (for me), for a week. Labyrinth advised me a hotel that would not be boring - Simantro Beach. The animation of the Salut club works here. This is a club where everyone from young to old is entertained. Table tennis tournaments, darts, mafia and volleyball are for adults. I don’t understand children’s entertainment, but children leave Simantro with tears in their eyes, so attached to the animators.

In addition, among the things I knew in advance about the hotel was that it stands far from civilization among a pine forest, on a large sandy coast. For some, this is a disadvantage, but if you still intend to travel, then the main thing is to make it pleasant to return.

The host told me where to go, and I even took one excursion with her - on a boat to Sithonia, and see the views of Athos. Then I went to Sithonia myself to eat in the port taverns, lie down on the wonderful beaches and generally see everything there in more detail. I also went to Thessaloniki, mainly to see the city and for the sake of shopping (just a sale).

But I completely spent a few days in the hotel, I already wrote about the animation that cheered me up. The beach there was crowded, but it does not interfere with water sports, and there is a large selection at the box office. I took a canoe. I burned down and used the services of the spa, it is very conducive to relaxation there.

The food at the hotel is very good, there is everything you need, and fresh juices, and coffee, and yogurt, and various meats. The room is also good, without luxury, but quite decent, such a stylized peasant.
Upset by the lack of Wi-Fi, the Internet is only on a few computers above the reception, and works in the evenings.
