I contacted the house daily, as there is excellent Wi-Fi throughout the entire hotel. I came for 2 weeks, so there was a lot of time. At first I wanted to take a break from everything and everyone. Therefore, I sunbathed on the beach, swam in the sea, even though it was already not quite warm. After all, I'm from Russia, and we're hot girls, aren't we? The hotel also has a spa, I went to a massage room a couple of times, I really liked it, because the Greek girl is a professional in her field, and the price is reasonable (1.5 h-10 euros), and I also really liked that the visit gym is free. Since I was already in Greece last year with my husband, I visited the main proposed excursions. This time, I thought about it and decided that I would go to one of the pilgrimage programs, as it is very interesting, I would like to see the difference between Greek and Russian Orthodoxy, the differences between monasteries, etc. Of all the pilgrimage programs, I decided to go on a tour of the holy places of Veria, I not only liked this trip, I was delighted with it! All temples and monasteries are magnificent in their own way. I especially remember the Skete of John the Baptist, since we visited 2 caves nearby - a small one, where St. Dionysius of Olympus and the big one, where such a famous saint as Gregory Palamas got involved, it seems he is the founder of hesychasm. The place is very beautiful, having been there, I seemed to be renewed, my soul became very light. I was also impressed by the monastery of Panagia Sumela, the guide told a very interesting story, I sharpened my attention to this saint and respectfully bowed to the famous image of the Mother of God of Sumela. In general, I received a lot of useful information from this excursion, I touched the particles of many relics, my emotions are overwhelming, because not every day there is such an opportunity to become closer to God.

We liked the hotel almost as soon as we arrived. A small but very beautiful well-groomed area with fruit trees creates comfort. Friendly staff (I would like to single out the owner of the hotel Pereklis and his bride Katrin) treated each guest with care and attention. As for the rooms, as an experienced tourist, I will say that not all 4-star hotels could compare with Hanioti Village on this point. By the way, while still at home, we decided to play it safe and take an improved room, which in fact met all our expectations. The room was small, overlooking the pool, with a modern interior and a full shower, a hair dryer was also. Now about the food: breakfasts were standard (eggs, bacon, toast with various jams, vegetables, fruits, Greek yogurt with canned peaches, tea, coffee) - monotonous, but very tasty. We ordered dinners in the morning: each person was supposed to have one cold dish, a hot dish and dessert - everything is very tasty, home-cooked. Separately, I would like to note the location of the hotel: it is a 15-minute walk from the center of a very nice village of Hanioti (with an abundance of local taverns where we dined and souvenir shops) and a 5-minute walk across the street from the Molos beach bar (where we went to sunbathe, At the same time, they didn’t pay for sunbeds and umbrellas - they took a drink and they were provided to us for free). The only thing we were not lucky with was the weather (it was cool, but we still swam), but we also found a plus in this - it was more comfortable to go on excursions than in the heat. In a word, we advise everyone to Greece (we ourselves plan to return there again) and in particular the Hanioti Village hotel!

The sea, by the way, is super! In the evening you can walk around Hanioti, the center of the village is literally 15 minutes. There you can find souvenir shops, taverns, and a supermarket. The food at the hotel is of high quality, although breakfasts cannot boast of variety, and dinner on the menu: consists of 3 courses (hot, appetizers and dessert), but we had enough.

I think that it will be convenient for travelers to stay here by car, because the hotel has free parking, and the hotel itself is located on the outskirts of the village. The hotel has a friendly, informal atmosphere. I think that families with small children and older people will not be very comfortable here, but young couples and active middle-aged people without children should be fine here.
