I read the forum here - others are fighting each other, trying to prove their own. What to prove then? Trite, but everyone has their own taste. It's just that there are those who have been in different hotels of the hated gay Europe and there are already some concepts. And there are primitive tourists. So.
The hotel was chosen after spending more than one hour on the Internet with his wife. Criteria: family budget and sandy beach. Have chosen.
We rested in Julia in mid-June 2018 (dad, mom, child 8 years old). By the way, in Wikimapia this hotel is positioned as a 2-star hotel.
The room was given with a view of the sea (the sea in the distance). The view is beautiful. The room itself is modest, cramped, with a balcony. I had to make a double bed out of single beds. This is who is used to sleeping with the second half. The room was cleaned regularly, bed linen and towels changed, no complaints.

My cons. Terrible cramped bathroom with a cabin. You can simultaneously sit, excuse me, on the toilet and brush your teeth over the sink.
Rumbling morning cleaning staff neighboring rooms. Both I and the child woke up.
And in the morning, a garbage truck came and just as noisily and brazenly loaded garbage into it.
In the evening, mosquitoes flew into the room (take fumitox from home). This is already a minus of nature.
The territory of the hotel is well-groomed, there was a hammock and a tennis table. Evening entertainment and other animators were not. There was also no TV in the bar (there was a home World Cup). But whether there are disadvantages in this, decide for yourself.
The pool is small, but at one end the depth is 2.80 - great! But full ashtrays by the sun loungers and unscrubbed plastic tables are a small minus.
Bar and canteen. Tea / coffee / juice from morning to evening. Beer / wine from 11.00, but in any quantity (if clusive). Ice cream/cocktails and wonderful Ouzo vodka - for separate euros (if you have them, of course).
The CIS staff is friendly, but I don’t consider this a plus, because I didn’t come to visit them, but at the sea.
But I put the fattest minus for hotel food. If lunch and dinner offered some choice, then the breakfast menu killed me and my wife! Look, every morning we were offered: a couple of types of sausage cuts, 1 type of cheese, boiled eggs, a couple of cereals with milk and tea / coffee. Yes, I forgot, and a large basket of bread. Primitive tourists and lovers of the phrase "no one left hungry" - bon appetit! I don't pay money to "stay hungry". But more on that at the end of my essay. And the flies in the canteen... Well, where can you get away from them?
Separately, I will note the advertising agent who is constantly located for your own good, disguised as a guide. Buying a "ride on a yacht" or renting a car is always a pity. Service!

The beach in Fourka is not a civilized beach. This is a strip of sand, in some places quite narrow. What do I call a civilized beach? These are trash cans, a sun lounger / umbrella, a cafe where I can go in shorts to drink a cold beer and buy ice cream for my child, this is an insipid shower, changing cabins and so on. A banana or a cheesecake will eventually give a child a ride. All this is not. For me, a minus, but for yourself - decide for yourself. However, the beach is clean from swine human waste and traditional garbage, but a lot of dried algae and other crap flying from the trees. The entrance to the sea is normal, the waves, if any, are quite small. The water is clear, but only when there are no waves. Tip for primitive tourists: buy an umbrella with a drill and an air mattress for your child right away.
In Furka itself, in its civilizational center, there are a lot of shops, shops, cafes and taverns. Here you have fried Halloumi cheese and dry wine with breaded squid. With a beautiful sunset view! I didn’t see any rumbling discos (and thank God). But there is nowhere else to go. Yes, there is also a miserable type of amusement park for the “youngest spectators”.
They took the car. 10 minutes of registration and go! I used MAPS. ME (some bought a local SIM card for navigation). The route was planned at home, placing "points". We went to the mountains, traveled around the two fingers of Kassandra and Sithonia (Athos is closed, as you know). General roads are not bad, the local serpentine is very narrow. But what I did not like was the signs in their small number and in the Greek alphabet. A couple of times, in the mountains, the navigator began to muddle, trying to confuse us. But in general, I recommend this program. She doesn't need the expensive internet for us there. We liked everything where we went, everything is beautiful, especially in the mountains with a view of the fingers (gigabytes of photos). Car/day €34, gasoline about €1.6 (92nd). Gas stations abound. I recommend to have with you a holder on a suction cup for a mobile phone and a USB auto charger (or an additional battery).
We went to the local Waterland water park. The water park is simple, slides and so on. not much, but my eight-year-old son enjoyed life and the suddenly surging diversity of tourist life.
Biggest complaint is the weather. Almost half of our expensive vacation was either overcast or raining at all. Local restaurateurs and hoteliers swore and swore that such weather was here for the first time. Let's trust them.
And the last, promised. You can arbitrarily fight in fierce disputes on the forum about this hotel. Personally, I'm not going to prove anything to anyone.

But here's the thing (may the dear Greek tailors forgive me). A year ago we rested in Spain (Salou). Everything is about the same, and, most importantly, correctly comparable: the duration of the vacation, the calendar, the "star" of the hotel, its distance from the sea (and the sea was the same), "all inclusive", the amount of money for the tour. But!...
Heaven and earth!
Good luck to all.
