So I want to tell you about such a wonderful place.
In May (from 05/18/12 to 05/27/12) we rested at the Potidea Palace Hotel 4+. The hotel is wonderful, in every possible way, especially for families with children.
But the story is not about him, but about the wine cellar "KAVA IDEA".
Unfortunately, many learn about it only at the end of the holiday and regret it quite strongly, although it is located 1 step from the hotel, in a souvenir shop.
Immediately behind the cash register is the entrance to the cellar, it is difficult to pass by it. Don't be lazy, go down there! A wooden staircase will lead you into light twilight and, so necessary on a hot day, pleasant coolness.
The entire interior is made of a combination of wood and stone. Wines from various parts of hospitable Greece are stored in 2 halls.

Once your eyes adjust a bit, don't be surprised by the amount of wine you see around you, there are actually even more. In total, "KAVA IDEA" has more than 2500 types of different wines. ("KAVA IDEA" is included in the Book of Records for the complete collection of Greek wines). But do not be afraid of such a variety, people who live in the cellar and receive guests, as well as at home, will help you figure it out:
Euripides is the Guru of this place, a man who knows everything about wine, well, or almost everything! During the tasting, you will learn a lot about the origin of wine, interesting stories about winemakers and their lives, and a charge of positive emotions for the rest of the time.
George and Alexis are young sommeliers, worthy students of their teacher. They will always tell you about wine with a smile on their face, recommend a drink “for the mood” and “on occasion” and help you make the right choice.
The pricing policy at KAVA IDEA will also pleasantly surprise you, the prices for wine are so loyal that they cause some stupor. We are used to paying a lot of money for a natural high-quality product, but this law does not work here. You are offered to enjoy the quality and treat it to your friends and family at home, and not empty your wallet. In addition, a bottle of good wine has always been a great gift!
