I want to join the many fans of the Potidea Palace Hotel on the Kassandra Peninsula in Greece and express my HUGE gratitude to the travel agency "Happy Columbus" for the tour that was perfectly selected for us. To begin with, we did not consider Greece at all this year for recreation, but were going somewhere to Croatia or Spain. The company was recommended to us by our friends, they have already flown from them. We came to the office, laid out all our wishes and it turned out that "our hotel" in Greece. For a long time, my annoying godfather tormented the girls from the company, and finally, on their urgent advice, we stopped at the Potidea Palace Hotel. We flew with the airline - Astra, to be honest, we did not like it. The planes are small, there is very little space between the seats. But it’s good to fly not far, somewhere up to two hours. From the airport, we ordered an individual transfer from the Calumbuses, it cost us 75 euros for five to the hotel. Later we met on excursions with the people of Kiev from the hotel nearby, so for two of them the transfer came out 125 euros (a trifle, but nice). I love this stone very much, I have a lot of products from it and it made me happy. Huge tables, bedside tables, vases, the reception desk itself looks very beautiful and rich. The room was given quickly - we have a standard, but this is our flaw - the travel agency offered us suites, but we thought that we would go on excursions and overpay for a more comfortable room, it makes no sense, which we later regretted a little. The room is normal, the only negative for us was that the beds were single and moved together. Cleaning is excellent every day, change of linen and towels daily. Every day replenishment of the bar - beer, juices, water, upon arrival a bottle of wine. By and large, if you didn’t know that there are cooler rooms (suites), then there’s nothing to complain about. The sea is the Divine purest water (although a couple of times when it was stormy the water was not so clean) But the first impressions were wonderful. The beach is covered with onyx stones, one more beautiful than the other. If I had the opportunity, I would bring a full suitcase of this beauty home (just kidding) Lunch at a restaurant on the street, very convenient. The food is good European cuisine. The first time returning from vacation, the kitchen was not boring and did not want ordinary borscht. There was everything - soup with meatballs, different kebabs, okroshka, dumplings (real), all kinds of fish....Ice cream all day. In short, it is simply not possible to get hungry, and all the food is of very good quality. All Inclusive at the bar is open until 23:00, after everything for a surcharge. We went to a restaurant on the second floor for 20 euros per person, everything is on the level, although everything is also fine on the first floor. We rented a car - 55 euros a day, a travel agency booked it for us back in Kyiv, but the price is the same at the hotel. We traveled almost the entire peninsula, the nature is wonderful. We went to Meteora, but I won’t repeat here because emotions overwhelm you, you can write for a very long time - you have to go there and see it. We went to the cave where St. Paul baptized the first Christians - impressive. As for fur coats, we were probably not lucky, I couldn’t buy anything for myself, my godfather bought a short fur coat, but as for me, the UAE has a better choice, although there are also Greek fur coats. In general, the holiday was a success, we were very pleased with the chosen hotel.
P / S I also forgot - we had a birthday girl, we ordered flowers in Kyiv. Delivered on time, the bouquet is a bomb, it costs 30 euros.
