Having bought a tour to this hotel, I decided to see what kind people write about this hotel, and came across a review by Taburetkinaklav, provided with a large number of comments, to be honest, I was a little scared, the hotel is not cheap, vacation is also a rare occurrence in our hectic life, neither You don't want to waste anything else. But to be honest, I agree with the comments of Karolina29, the ladies just ended up in the wrong hotel.
If you are looking for adventure, you need drive and thrills, then the hotel will disappoint you, it is quiet, calm, with an abundance of children, but it will be really difficult to find your happiness or adventure in one place there.
But, now about the hotel itself.

It is not far from the airport, about 40 minutes drive, without stopping at other hotels, check-in went quickly without delay, although we arrived at the hotel for an hour at 11-00, treated us to sweet red champagne, put on bracelets and handed over the keys to the room, we booked a family room, and we got it. The reception is very nicely decorated, not like in Amare Dolce Vita or Rixos Belek, it’s chic there, but here it’s beautiful and tasteful. Yes, in general, we don’t often visit the reception during our holidays, but the convenience and comfort of the room is much more important, the rooms in the hotel are not chic, modest, unpretentious, there are few sockets, there are no shelves in the cabinets, only the top one and that’s it, but otherwise everything is fine, a bacon with a dryer and garden furniture, LCD TVs, there were two of them in our room, it’s a bit inconvenient that one bedroom is also a corridor, i. e. it is a walk-through, and the audibility in it, through the door, is simply amazing.
Food - at a good level, both by Turkish-Tunisian-Egyptian standards, and by European standards, soybeans, which DiDit offered all the time, had probably already been eaten by the time of our vacation, so we enjoyed meat, fish and other seafood, amazing cottage cheese in the morning, we still remember. There was plenty of fruit too. Wine is sour for my taste, we took a bottle of wine for dinner in the wine shop, at the shop, for dinner, of all the ones I tried, I liked Honey Wine the most, this is white wine, and I liked it, although I prefer red wines (or as they are called in Georgia black).
What, in my opinion, is the minus of the hotel is the beach, not even the beach itself, but the entrance to the sea, sharp fireplaces, which can hurt you badly when the sea is rough, and the second minus is that there is no civilization around the hotel, the village of Nea Potidea, it seems within walking distance, but it is very boring, some kind of dead, and walking to it is not very convenient.
A few years ago, we rested at the Sani Beach Hotel & Spa 5 *, it’s better there.
In general, summing up, I’ll say that we are experienced travelers, we’ve been in luxury hotels, we’ve also been in budget hotels (we take whatever the funds allow), Potidea is a very good hotel, it has a soul.
Of course, there will always be people who do not like something, but the claims must be justified. And not like DiDit, soy fish, but it’s funny, boring for a teenager - well, maybe, although my son, who was almost 16, didn’t get bored at all, he played tennis, volleyball, football, in the evenings teenagers crowded in a bar with their gadgets. Wi-Fi in the hotel failed, but in the evenings in the bar the speed was good.
Well, what else to say, the price tag would be smaller for this hotel, and we would have longer vacations and that's it.
Have a good trip, and let your choice only please you, as it happens with us
