Just got back from vacation yesterday. None of the family members could have imagined such a wonderful May vacation. And for this, many thanks, first of all, to the staff of the Potidea Palace Hotel. Before the trip, we chose a hotel for a long time, and it was the employee of Mouzenidis who advised me to stay at Potidea Palace. This hotel is owned by a tour operator. This fact has its pluses (and in my opinion there are more) and minuses, more precisely, it is the only one - these are crowds of people from other hotels who are brought on Thursday to the "Greek Evenings". But for Mouzenidis, this hotel is exemplary.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with a glass of champagne, quickly settled in the rooms, where there was a "compliment from the hotel" in the form of a bottle of champagne, a bottle of wine and a plate of fruit. We had a Famely Deluxe room in the new building. The windows of our bedroom overlooked the parking lot, at the end of which, there were garbage cans. This fact upset us very much and we went to change the room. We were offered a couple of other options, but we didn't like them. We decided to stay in the original room. To our surprise, in a couple of days the entire fence that separates the building from the parking lot was covered with a dense mesh. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, which I can’t say about the Double Room, small rooms, and a second bed in the corner. Cleaned every day with sufficient quality. There are no questions about the territory at all, but it is small, but cozy. And most importantly - clean. A lot of bushes with roses, flowers of incredibly large sizes.
Regarding nutrition, each of us gained an extra 2-3 kg in two weeks. Everything is very delicious. We ate at the Acropolis restaurant on the second floor. The difference is that in addition to the buffet, you order dishes from the menu. A lot of seafood is offered: octopuses, shrimps, squids, mussels, various fish, and most importantly, everything is very fresh. I was also surprised by the presence of soups, ordinary homemade soups. When we drove around the mainland in a car, we couldn’t eat the first one anywhere, since the Greeks don’t eat soups.

Mostly Russians, Ukrainians, Bulgarians rest in this hotel.
A little disappointed entry into the sea. There are a few more expensive ones, by the end of the holiday they were laid out of sandbags, and so are the stones on which the hedgehogs bask. With us, one tourist stepped on a hedgehog. The poor thing had to be operated on.
I would like to say special thanks to the animators. Although the season is just beginning, they are already ready to offer a lot of entertainment and, most importantly, everything is unobtrusive.
During these two weeks I fell in love with Greece. I want to go back there again. I don’t think it will be Potidea Palace (my husband and I have a rule not to go twice to the same hotel), but I will definitely return to this country.
