Rested family 2 adults, 3 children (11.8 and 2 years) in the Sani Beach Hotel. The operator in Russia is Mondo Tours. The operator in Greece is Mouzenidis Travel. August 13-20.2006. The voucher said Sani Beach Hotel (Cat. A) Family Suite SV. Upon arrival, we were immediately settled in building B. Entering the room (or rather, 2 rooms connected by a door), at first they were perplexed - a rather shabby appearance, obviously not the first freshness bed linen, old towels, curtains with holes. In the bathroom, the shower is a trough on the floor with a rag curtain. When you wash, the entire tiled floor in the bathroom is covered with water and it is impossible to pass without slipping. The younger child fell - got a healthy bump. The shower head is designed so that it works only in hydromassage mode. It's embarrassing even for an adult. The child is in pain. I wonder how, from their point of view, you can wash a 2-year-old child with this (the hotel is positioned as a family one). By the way, their website says bathroom with bathtub!
The room itself - after they installed a cot for the youngest child, the exit to the balcony was completely blocked (and 10 cm was gone) and access to the minibar was closed. All other dimensions are appropriate - the passage is up to 1m. Sea view (SV) - half of the space is blocked by the mountain, and half is like the sea. Mini bar. When you check it was empty (although filled in 2 days). The promised wine and fruits ( http://www. saniresort. gr/page/) for the Suite class were not there.

As it turned out later, building B had not been repaired for a long time (which clearly does not correspond to the advertisement on their website) and at the end of the season it will be closed for reconstruction! Our compatriots clean the rooms. The quality is appropriate (look around). A towel for the floor (they have a special one - so as not to slip after a shower) - we beat them out ourselves. My rating of this room is 2 * - no more.
We waited for the representative of Mouzenidis Travel (Aris) (as a representative of our interests) and went to the reception to sort things out. Where we were kindly informed that we had an error in the voucher! There is no Family Suite SV in the hotel at all. What is most remarkable - we booked the tour in March - April and arrived in August. And before that, they were obviously modestly silent and confirmed the booking. But they promised to move to building A by Friday (in the middle of the rest! ) At the same time, they said that there were no duplicated rooms in A, and we would have to live in different rooms not connected by a door. Which later turned out to be another lie. All in all, our main requirement was a safe shower. To which we agreed - safety is more expensive. Aris acted solely as an interpreter, and not a representative of our interests, then it became clear why - he usually had dinner with them  everything is arranged in Russian.
Building A is something more similar to what they have on the server - tiles, a shower cabin that closes, a TV panel, a slightly larger room. The rooms are duplicated through the door. Really recently renovated, but the TV outlet just fell out, and therefore it did not show. No one thought to fix it. New bedding and toiletries. The cleaners are not Russian, but the quality is a little better. Gorgeous views of the sea, the bay and the hotel grounds. My rating is normal 3* (but without Suit).
Separately, about my ratings - I was Spain (in 3 places), Turkey, Cyprus, Sochi (beach vacation), many countries and hotels with sightseeing holidays - I have something to compare and how to evaluate the hotel.

On the way to Greece, we stopped for a day at the Aerohotel Domodedovo - good 4 *. There was something to compare. This is very strange, but in Aerohotel (we have) the service is an order of magnitude higher than theirs (in Europe).
The day before departure, we went in the afternoon to look for cleaners (!

) to change the towels - found them in the room - went in - here they are 4 * Suite - two rooms (not through the door) - one has a double bed, the other has 2 sofas, a large bathroom with several sinks, etc. We asked the cleaners - what category of this room - they answered - Suite. Naturally, the day before departure, we did not fuss.

There were many Russians in the hotel - 30-50 percent. We talked to some - everyone was in shock - they bought one (having paid the appropriate money) and got just awful. Moreover, the majority were just those who rest in 4 -5 *. There were even those who ordered DeLuxe, but received the standard. All with fights pulled out more or less decent numbers. And initially they settled everyone in B and said that this is what you ordered. Moreover, non-Russians were immediately settled in A - why do they need a bad reputation and trouble in the European Union.

The beach is not there 7 km. beaches as they promise. Between the bay and the Sani Club in general, the camping hotel has a star rating of 1.
5, there is no crowding, and he obviously has nothing to do with Sani (although it is possible that the beaches are good there). There are beaches near the bay (from the bay to the cape), but we personally did not go there - boats and diesel fuel are too close. The cape is a rock; there are no beaches right there in the sea. Behind the cape, the shore is a rock, 2-5 meters of sand, the sea. But actually these 2-5 meters are densely lined with sunbeds. In addition, you can see there were once piers, now they are destroyed, and all these cobblestones from them lie in the water and there is only a small place where you can walk in the sea on the sand without injuring your feet on the stones. Neither the beach nor the water is clean. There is a rather large accumulation of dark algae in the water and when you go out, you clean yourself of them. Since the rocks are close and there is vegetation on them, all this also pours from them into the sand - therefore it is garbage. The child drove some kind of thorn into his leg 1 m from the water.
The sand cleaner was standing - but I have never seen anything done to them, after they removed it from the beach altogether - apparently it broke.

Another trouble - they picked up some kind of infection, fever, cough. A week out of 2 actually got sick. Were already treated in Russia. There is a pipe with medicine - they called a doctor (he is 1 in all Sani), an Arab - less knowledge than I have (I'm not a doctor). After he pulled out a non-sterile syringe (without packaging) from his diplomat, he removed the needle from it with his hands and handed it to us, explaining that the medicine should be poured into the child’s mouth with a syringe (it is apparently bitter), it became clear that there would be no help from him. Only he tore off 150E before that.

Moreover, many children were sick at the resort (cough, runny nose, temperature).
Meals - in general, a standard buffet, normal in terms of quality of products, but the variety is minimal. Everything is the same every day.
Nature and climate are really gorgeous.
Excursions - went only to Meteora (the rest of the time they were sick and refused). I liked it. Very good and funny guide (Panaetis Dmitrievich) – a good tour mainly thanks to the guide. He really has a lot of knowledge (an enthusiastic historian) and tells interesting things.

Their site is written in all 6 *, in fact - it's a pity that in such a beautiful place such a disgusting service and Asian (on the bad side) thinking (money received - the deal is made). Even in Turkey, this was not the case. Worse than Sochi. Therefore, I don’t go there anymore - there are more decent places where I am ready to leave my money.

I wrote this story on September 6.2006, after which I sent it to Mondo Tours - in general, there are complaints about them and the rest organized by him. As of today, December 19 - the answer from them - we understand, nothing more. It's not serious in my opinion. Here it is published.
Andrei.
