This was my first time staying at a hotel like this in Greece.
The positives include the location, the quiet area, the many large pine trees around, the beautiful view, the nice beach, and the intoxicating scent of flowers, pine, and honey all around. The staff, Oksana and Nadya, are from Ukraine, and they add a lot to the hotel's appeal.

Now the negatives: the food. The buffet is very, very meager and became boring after 10 days. Dinners are a la carte, but everything is so economical, and there were dishes that made you think if they served something like that again, I simply wouldn't come back for dinner. The manager and the owner are also standing around discussing how much everyone is eating. The owner's behavior is generally incomprehensible: you greet her, but she doesn't greet you, seems dissatisfied with everything, and loudly discusses everyone. The descent to the sea is difficult; anyone with joint problems or small children should drive. Even without a car, there's nothing to do at this hotel; it's boring on the first day. There's no kettle in the rooms. When you ask a small child to make porridge, they might give you one with a look on their face and a bunch of questions.
Not a single person went near the pool for 10 days (they all read the reviews).
Overall, the hotel feels like it's from the Soviet Union. It's the only hotel in Greece, and some organization provides free travel packages to pensioners.
It's for sale, and I hope the new owners make it more attractive, because it's a great location.
