Rested on about. Corfu or Kerkyra at the Cyprotel Almyros Natura 4 * hotel, in June from 09.06. -19.06. 2013 with 9 year old son. Tour operator "Biblio Globus". The host party "Kanoulas Travel" met at the airport and delivered to the hotel in a good comfortable bus. The guide at the hotel Timur Khasanov, very attentive and always helpful, handed us the excursion programs and briefly spoke about each excursion. Corfu is the greenest island with many flowers, olive trees and cypresses. The smell of blooming linden and eucalyptus is a miracle! The weather in early June is excellent and the sea is already quite warm. It was a bit stormy -2 days. The hotel is generally normal, bungalow number 1601 is modest with old furniture and a TV with the 1st Russian channel Shanson TV. The air conditioning is working, in the evening there are a lot of mosquitoes. Bed linen is clean, towels are changed frequently, the maid left a little. The sea is clean, the beach is sandy nearby, the entry into the sea at the hotel is without stones, the depth is increasing. Sunbeds charge 2.5 euros. Animation for children 3-6 years old, then for adults (50% of Germans, 5% of Slovaks, 5% of Italians, 40% of Russians had a rest) in English. Animators are young without much enthusiasm. For the rest of young people, perhaps, the hotel is boring. The food at the all inclusive was good, watermelon, melon, always. There is no cash. Soups of 2 kinds, but all with black pepper. Chicken, beef, turkey, fish, fresh vegetable salad with cheese, tzatziki sauce, french fries, etc. For breakfast, boiled egg, fried eggs, sausages, bacon, canned fruits, fresh peaches, apples, oranges, natural yogurt, jams, everything is OK! From drinks except tea and coffee: soft drinks from the machine, beer, dry wine. For lunch, dinner, there are always desserts and 4 types of ice cream. The hotel staff is attentive and friendly to all vacationers. To the nearest village Acharavi on foot about 20-30 minutes, by bike (rental at the hotel) 5-10 minutes. There are no bicycle paths, as well as pedestrian paths, the movement is not too active. In the village you can rent any car or I liked the village of Acharavi, there are many souvenir shops, cafes, music plays and all the Greeks are very friendly. We visited the Lemon Garden cafe and tasted delicious big pizza, squid, meat, everything is very tasty! We went to the water park of the Gelina Village hotel, one day was enough for us. Price (10 and 15 euros). The water park has six slides, a swimming pool, a bar for a fee, music plays. My son really liked it and so did I. We went on a sightseeing tour of the sights: the Achilleo Palace, the Mavromatis factory, which produces liqueurs and sweets from a small Chinese orange Kumkuat, which is calculated on the island. Then a trip to the west coast to the bay of Paleokastritsa, it is very beautiful there. From the bus we went to a boat with a transparent bottom, on which we took a short walk along the coast, and the transparent bottom of the boat allowed us to look into the depths of the underwater world. On deck, with Greek music, it was nice to return to the shore. Then to the village, where they sold souvenirs, virgin oil, natural cosmetics and more. In the evening we returned to the hotel. We went to the city of Kerkyra on our own. Temple of St. Spyridon, dinner in one of the cafes on a busy street of the old city reminiscent of Italy, relaxing and impressive. Yes, there are many places on the island that you want to visit! But, unfortunately, time is running fast and it's time to go home! I recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday! Have a good rest!
