So, I'll start my story from the airport. We flew from Vnukovo on a charter flight by Sky Express. The flight was delayed by an hour and a half or two. And our flight was moved from evening to early morning, and he was delayed for an hour. In the end, almost 2 days we had was eaten up by the airline and staying at the airport.
The flight to Corfu takes 3 hours. Upon arrival, we were met, seated in minibuses and taken to the hotels. Ambiente is the first in proximity to the airport, it takes about 30 minutes to drive.
The hotel is very large, bright, with amazing views of the sea, mountains. The staff is very friendly, responsive. We had a room without a balcony, which was very disappointing, because. There was nowhere to dry swimsuits and towels. There was also no dryer in the room. The rooms are generally not bad, in the room there is a TV (no Russian channels), a hairdryer, air conditioning, a refrigerator.

There are 2 pools on the territory, one is shallow, the other is deep up to 2.5 m deep. Sunbeds by the pools are occupied at 7 am, after 10 it is almost impossible to find a sunbed.
The food is very tasty, fresh, lots of vegetables and various salads, meat and chicken wings, fried potatoes and spaghetti as side dishes. Amazing watermelon is served for breakfast and dinner. There are not so many sweets and pastries, they are very similar in taste to Turkish sweets. The bar is open from 10 am to 11 pm. Drinks are good, cola, sprite, fanta local. Ordinary water, however, is the most disgusting. Bought at a local store.
Now about the beach. They write that it is 30 m to the beach - this is if it rolls head over heels from the mountain. In fact, 500 meters along a rather steep serpentine: it is still possible to go down, but it is very difficult to go up. The path lies through the sewage treatment plant, so the smell is appropriate in places. The bus really runs from the hotel to the beach, but on the 5th day of my vacation, something burned down there and the service was over.
The beach is small, sandy and pebbly, stone slabs are installed in one of the places, located in the bay. Sunbeds and umbrellas are paid: 2 and 3 euros. The sea is clean, transparent, changeable in temperature, at shallow depths you can see beautiful fish that swim very close. Where there are a lot of sea urchins stones - be careful, look under your feet.
Pelekas Beach is located next door: large, sandy, with waves. But walk to it for about 40 minutes along the goat trail.
I advise you to rent a car, very cheap for 3 days from 100 euros. And you are free to move.
The hotel is located between the two villages of Sinarades and Pelekas. There is nowhere to walk outside the hotel: two shops for tourists and a tavern. There is nothing more.

I did not like the animation in the hotel. The first two days shocked the transvestite who hosted the show. The program is conducted in English, and in principle this show is of no interest to anyone. The English and Germans who predominate in this hotel are constantly drinking from early in the morning until late at night. But in general they are quite quiet.
For young people the hotel is boring. There are no discos or entertainment in the hotel. All clubs are located in Corfu town, where a taxi will happily take you for 40 euros one way (here's another plus for you to rent a car).
We took a large sightseeing tour of the island for 75 euros. I really liked it despite most of the negative reviews. We saw everything we wanted, bought souvenirs.
Well, to summarize, the hotel is a solid four. Suitable more for picky young families with small children and couples. I consider the rest successful, but next time I will choose the hotel more carefully regarding the distance from the beach.
Have a good rest!
