We rested with my family at the Mayor Pelekas Monastery hotel in June. Judging objectively, I can single out the pluses: a large territory, a beautiful view of the west coast, an excellent entertainment program. We were very pleased with the traditional village - Pelekas - when you drive up, the houses on the hillside look unusual. The observation deck - the throne of the Kaiser - is also amazing. By the way, there is a free bus from the hotel to the village of Pelekas, so as not to walk along the narrow paths. The beauty of the hotel is indescribable - the sea stretches to the horizon. And you can't see the shore like on the east coast! And unlike many other hotels, sunbeds are not for extra charge.
The hotel is divided into sectors - floors, it is convenient to move between them using elevators. But the main highlight is the restaurant where they cook divinely! And what table setting! Near the pool is quite a large area for animation. Theme nights are held daily: live music, Greek evening, etc. Everything would be fine if not for a small minus: I would like more variety, especially for dinner. But this is already, if you find fault. I don’t know how plus or minus to note the fact that the hotel is remote from settlements: it seems to be quiet, the sea is nearby, but sometimes there is not enough activity.
For athletes, the ideal option is the free gym and the steep uphill climb from the hotel. For the rest, there is the opportunity to take a free shuttle to the village. Despite the small minuses, my family was satisfied with the rest. We will definitely visit Corfu again.
