I want to write about the "highest quality of services" provided to our family by Coral on vacation in Greece.
I have been traveling with my husband for many years. We visited 15 countries of the world. We love the East very much. We heard a lot about the amazing island of Corfu, which is considered the most beautiful in Europe. So we went to see this wonderful island with our own eyes. We intentionally chose a mountainous area with its amazing bays and islands. We dreamed of seeing the whole island, visiting the temples. . . With such bright hopes, we flew to Corfu on 09/07/16. flight 7515.
. The hotel is located in a fabulously beautiful place - it is a small bay surrounded by mountains with grottoes and caves, stretching far into the sea with bizarre green islands. The purest transparent water and a small pebble beach with paid sunbeds. Beach towels are not provided at the hotel. Small one and two-story houses are located on terraces, start from the beach and go high into the mountains. Therefore, it is physically difficult to reach "cheap" rooms.

Trouble began as soon as we arrived at the hotel around 10.00. Until 12.00, 12 tourists from Russia from different tour operators gathered at the reception. After several hours of waiting, we realized that Russian tourists were not held in high esteem here, since foreign tourists were settled immediately, and for us everyone "cleaned" the rooms. Time passed. After lunch, our company began to insistently demand check-in at the hotel. At 15.00 we were told that there were no places in this hotel and 12 Russian tourists were taken by bus far from the sea to a 2-star hotel. Why did it take so long to play this comedy and mock people when it was known in the morning that there were no rooms in the hotel?
On the morning of September 8, the whole company returned to the "Blue Princess", where yesterday's procedure was repeated. Just a real "Groundhog Day". Among us were two women who were settled in this hotel for three days two years ago. Tour operators were called to help us settle in the hotel.
At the third hour we received the coveted keys to the room. The house was not so high. The window and the glass door "luckily" looked at the wall of the house, located 2.5-3 meters from ours, so that the sun never looked into our room. The room was always cold and damp. The bed was damp. All our outfits quickly became damp, towels did not dry out, and swimsuits were constantly wet. The room was not cleaned every day! In 10 days, completely wet towels were replaced only twice at my urgent request! On the eve of departure, the sheets were changed for the first time, and there was nothing to replace the dirty pillowcases. I've never seen such "unobtrusive service"!
During the holiday there was a bunch of dissatisfaction with poor cleaning, unsanitary conditions, indifferent attitude towards tourists, bad food... It seemed that the hotel practiced non-waste food production. that, from the half-eaten lunch is prepared in the morning, and then dinner. Often the chicken dish gave off a stale smell, and the fried liver was simply inedible. The hotel is on the seashore, and the menu every day is the same cooked fish (I don’t know her name) and only once for 10 days there was a salad with a few shrimps and pieces of squid. A very meager list of fruits (this is in season).

Russians on vacation converge quickly. On the beach, we met a family from Moscow who were vacationing with small children. They immediately warned us to be picky about our food. On the first day of rest after dinner in the restaurant, they all fell ill with . . intestinal infection. Were treated by a doctor. They said that many vacationers here are ill with intestinal infections. The British who lived next to them, upon departure, wished their family one thing - to return home alive! These terrible words indicate that an acute intestinal infection in the hotel has become a terrible problem.
On September 9, on the third day of rest, the first of our "outcast" group of Russian tourists fell ill with an intestinal infection. Then his wife. The next day on the beach, a tourist from St. Petersburg began to vomit. He lost consciousness. In the town of Liapades, where we rested, there is no doctor and ambulance, so help was called for a lot of money. The patient was taken to the hospital, where he lay with a dropper until the morning. On the same day in the evening I had a heaviness in my stomach and nausea. During the night (sorry for the details) I had diarrhea more than 20 times. By morning, I was so weak that I could hardly get up to go to the toilet. Then I could no longer get up. I lay in bed for a day. I couldn't even drink. I was ill for six days. My husband took me to a restaurant, where I ate crackers with tea (this is such an all-inclusive vacation). Then my husband fell ill, but not so hard.
To summarize: in our group of 12 people, 11 people had an intestinal infection
After returning home, I immediately began to re-read the reviews about the hotel. In reviews from 2014, they wrote about a severe intestinal infection, general negligence of the staff and unsanitary conditions. Two years have passed, and nothing has changed for the better in this hotel! I’ll also write that the hotel staff approached the family from Moscow and offered to write a positive review about the hotel for a few free days of rest. In the same way, the review of the family who rested after us in the Blue Princess disappeared from the Internet. There my husband fell ill with an intestinal infection. The wife woke up at night from the sounds of vomiting and found her husband unconscious, face in the toilet and with wounds on his face!

And now about the reaction of officials who "made us happy" with this holiday. One of the tour operators, who was called in connection with the illness of a tourist, simply said: “Why did you choose this hotel? Everyone on this coast suffers from an intestinal infection. ” This means that the management of travel agencies has long been aware of the unfavorable sanitary and epidemiological situation on the island! Then why do they talk about the high rating of the Blue Princess hotel and widely recommend it to Russian tourists when it should have been closed for an epidemiological examination for a long time?
In all respects, it does not correspond to the declared stardom. Do Russian tourists go for big money not to rest, but to get sick; live in damp and dirty rooms, where they hardly clean, do not change linen; where they feed poor-quality food, and all the sewage is drained directly into the azure waters near the hotel? Here is not the type of food, but all of the above and is the coveted "all inclusive".
We saved up for this trip for a whole year. One day in Corfu is my monthly pension! Money wasted in vain, and most importantly, this is a loss of trust in people, your company Coral. unfulfilled hopes, undermined health and spoiled long-awaited vacation. Two days of waiting for check-in at the hotel and six days of lying in the room. And not a single excursion, nothing! It was not a rest, but a torment.
Our family learned a cruel lesson from this trip. Let tourists think deeply about the itinerary of the trip and the choice of the tour operator, and also pay attention to the reviews of vacationers - this will help them avoid a fatal mistake and have a great vacation. We wish you only happy travels!
