Солнечный остров Корфу! Sunny island of Corfu!

We went in August 2013 with my husband on about. Corfu. We are a young active couple, so the main criterion in choosing a hotel for us was the proximity of an active village, so that there was somewhere to go out in the evening and the city of Corfu, which we dreamed of seeing, and, of course, we wanted a good-quality hotel.
We stopped our choice at the Dassia Chandris hotel in the village of Dasya.
First of all, I want to share my impressions about the island itself. We want to go back there again and will definitely do it next year. The island is amazingly beautiful, green, rich in historical heritage. It is worth renting a car and driving around. The capital of the island - Kerkyra, left an indelible memory! It is better to see once than hear a hundred times.

I liked the Dassia Chandris hotel. Located on the first line, the sea is fabulous. The beach is sandy, there are some pebbles when entering the sea. The territory is green, many olive trees. The proximity of the village is very convenient, in the evening you can take a walk and sit in a tavern.
Our room was small, cozy, overlooking the sea, but they only came to spend the night, because there is something to do in Corfu! I want to highlight the work of the staff, friendly, benevolent. They do not speak Russian, but you can explain yourself in school-level English. The exception is the Russian-speaking girl Olga at the reception. The hotel corresponds to its 4 *, good value for money
It is very important that there is a bus stop near the hotel, from where you can get to Corfu. Buses run frequently. I advise you to go both during the day and at night, as the city has its own magic both day and night!
The rest was wonderful, we want to return to Corfu again!
