Traveling has been our life with my husband for over 20 years. Every year we try to go somewhere and discover new places. Before that, they visited Italy, Germany, Malta, Poland and the Czech Republic from the EU countries. And in the summer of 2016, we decided that it was time to get acquainted with the cradle of European civilization, Greece.
Of course, we did not start from the capital, but we managed to go there in 14 days of rest. We chose inexpensive apartments on the island to save on housing and devote time to excursions and car trips around the area. Evi Ariti was the name of our hotel.
From the airport on a shared bus to go no more than half an hour. On the way, a girl in a yellow T-shirt talked about the island itself and about the sights. And 5 minutes before we got to the hotel, we saw a real miracle - a passenger plane landed as if on water. It turned out that this is not entirely true. It's just that the airstrip in Corfu is located very close to the sea and in a certain area you can see that it goes straight into the water. And then my husband and I realized that we would not sleep, because the planes would make noise all the time. This is not true. Airplanes do not interfere with sleep, because there are practically no night flights here. And during the day we were always absent, so I can’t say anything.

They dropped us off the road. And it took a couple more minutes to climb up. So, if you have health problems, you should not buy this particular option.
And let's go to the hotel.
1. Breakfast. Tasty, a little, but satisfying. Those. you will eat porridge, bread, cheese and sausages, jams, honey, yogurt, butter, tea, coffee and juice. The pancakes were also delicious. Just lick your fingers. But don't expect special frills.
2. Numbers. We had a studio. Those. there is a balcony, a small kitchenette, beds, a wardrobe, air conditioning and dishes. Everything you need, but again, no frills.
3. Cleaning. Cleaned every day except weekends. Sunday is their dead day.
4. Infrastructure. Shop across the road. There are food and souvenirs. And special shoes for the beach. This is important too!
5. Service. Evie, the owner, is a wonderful woman. In general, I understand that the Greeks are very hospitable people and in small hotels you feel at home. Always help and advise. Almost no one speaks Russian. There was one woman Svetlana in the restaurant and our hotel guide, of course.
6. Beach. It's also across the street. There are pebbles on the beach, it is small, but clean. Always look underwater. Thankfully it's transparent. If you see large stones, then it is better not to step on them. Sea urchins are waiting for you there)) Therefore, special shoes are sold. There are sun loungers and umbrellas, but you need to buy a drink. It costs approximately 2.5 euros.
I can sum it up. The hotel is small but cozy. For a comfortable stay on "all inclusive" is not suitable. Not the option, but for excursions and overnight stay - it's the best. The main thing is that it is inexpensive and justifies the money invested.
