We rested the second half of July for 2 weeks in Kontokalli Bay in Corfu with a child of 5 years old, we liked everything! The beach is clean, the sea too, there is a smaller beach, where there were mostly families with children, although the big beach is just as good. The men played volleyball, there is also table tennis. The staff was very pleased, they are all worthy people, open, polite, helpful. We took breakfast and lunch, lunch was sometimes changed for dinner - there was sooo much food, everything was delicious, seafood for lunch, a large selection of meat dishes for dinner, we also dined at restaurants nearby. There is a children's menu at dinner, ice cream is always available and there are soups for lunch, even chicken. All fruits, watermelons/melons in endless doses and very tasty. On Sundays, champagne was served for free for dinner. . The rest of the drinks are all paid, except for breakfast, for breakfast tea, coffee, cocoa, water, drinks such as "juices" - everything is free sometimes cars drive, but this is how it is everywhere, all over Corfu, there are no paths along the sea) The menu in all taverns is approximately the same, as are the prices, for 2 dishes and a salad, fresh juices, a glass of wine / beer, it turned out to be about 35-40 euros, even less sometimes. We stuck to the nearest Kerkin's tavern, it took about 5 minutes to walk from the hotel, if you go downstairs, we asked for the child to make the dish the way he wants and everything was prepared for us. If you turn right from the hotel and go up, then there is the Raula fish tavern, it’s also delicious, but we preferred to go to the village. There is also a very good SPA center in the hotel, where the pool with jacuzzi, sauna and hammam are free for all hotel guests. which made us happy. For children there is a playground with an animator (English speaking) and a small paddling pool, but we were there only a couple of times, the sea is more interesting. It is very convenient to travel around the island by bus, we were in Paleokastritsa - it is worth a visit, it is worth a visit to swim in a chic, clean bay, it is located on the other side of the island and the water there is a little colder, but of amazing color and purity. We also visited Achileon, the palace of the Austrian empress, the palace itself and the views around are beautiful, you can admire and take good photos, but almost nothing of the interiors has been preserved inside, there was a casino and personal belongings for a long time and there is nothing like that. A free minibus runs from the hotel to Corfu from the hotel every day from 9.30 am to 13.45 pm, very convenient, we went several times. , even hotel shampoos there are of normal quality, there were bathrobes and slippers in the room. Those rooms that are downstairs, without a certain view from the window, are no worse than the others, they are even cooler, you don’t need to turn on the air conditioner, the windows overlook the green lawn. Rooms with terraces are the best, even those that do not overlook the sea, but just on the territory - it's quiet and calm. In the evenings, on the beach near the hotel's tavern there were different programs, dances, children's tricks, some unpretentious animator, everything is very dosed , not burdensome, just what you need, several times a week, or you could listen to the pianist at the main building. We really liked it and have something to compare with - this is an excellent hotel.
