We traveled with two children, 2 and 7 years old.
The hotel is family friendly or for couples looking for a relaxing holiday.
There are no discos. Music is only until 11 pm and you can't hear it in the bungalows - I don't know about the hotel rooms, but I think it's also not audible, because. she's at the beach bar.
For children there is a playground with a knee-deep pool. THERE is a cat girl. She watches over the children.
The only minus of the site is that it does not work much - from 10 to 12 and from 16 to 18 - and these are the hours when you are on the beach and the children do not seem to need to be "attached".
The food is just excellent - breakfast is simpler and monotonous - but then again there are several. types of dishes and if you choose a new main course every day, then for 4 days there will definitely be enough variety, and then in a circle : )
For dinner - variety every day - in main dishes and desserts.

Salads are the same. But meat dishes change - there is always a lot to choose from - fish and chicken and pork, and there was even a duck in oranges! - just delicious !!!
There is also a lot of choice for lunch - there are ready-made meat two courses + spaghetti, lasagna and soup.
and there is a grill with you - there are pork ribs, octopus, shrimp, fish and something else - I didn’t take anything (I didn’t want to eat in the heat), my husband just took it, that’s what I saw.
For dessert in the morning pies and muffins. In the evening, just different food + ice cream, there are 6 types.
Fruits are varied. Always - in the morning and at lunchtime and in the evening - watermelon, melon, oranges, apples, pears, peaches, nectarines, grapes, plums, bananas.
There were only strawberries, but I didn’t see them in stores either.
For children, in the morning there are yogurts with various jams, muesli, chocolate and some simple cereals.
Scrambled eggs, delicious potatoes, boiled eggs, Nesquik.
I always saw only one porridge - rice, but it is not on milk, but as if on yogurt and cold, sweet. I liked it very much, but not the child, but they are generally bad food for them, they only need potatoes and pasta, it was always there too, that's what we ate.
For dinner, there are always simple boiled vegetables - carrots, cauliflower, beans, potatoes.
The beach is good, clean, sand on the beach and in the sea.
For children, the beach is ideal - there is a very slow slope, 3 meters from the shore, only waist-deep for a child of 7 years old.
The water is clear, you can see that the sand is clean, there are few stones, there are a lot of fish swimming, they saw shrimp on the rocks near the breakwaters, and a lot of shells with hermit crabs - a child like to catch, watch and release.
There have never been jellyfish and hedgehogs.
The sea is muddy, only three times there were small waves, after which algae appeared in the water in the afternoon, but in the morning they were gone.
There were enough beds. We generally came to the beach at 10, so in general we were always one of the first. And only by 11 o'clock the first line was filled and the second one started.

At the same time, there were always sunbeds with pre-thrown towels, and the people themselves came at 11-12 o'clock - we sometimes already leave, but they only come - and the sunbeds were occupied in the morning - as they say, neither to themselves, not to people - who do you think they were ? always only our compatriots... even ashamed somehow...
At the same time, as I say, the sunbeds were always free!
And only during the siesta hours and the terrible sun - at 14-16 o'clock - the beach was full, but at that time I think a normal person would not sit on the beach...
The only minus of the beach is that all the beaches in Herzia are state-owned and whoever wants can come to them and lie on their towels on the sand, and only if you want on a sunbed, then pay for it.
So in the afternoon, after 12 o'clock, locals and those who lived in apartments and villas near the hotel appeared somewhere from the edge of the beach.
It somehow became like Crimea at that end of the beach : )
but the problem was solved simply - it was necessary to go to bed from the other side or just go to the second beach in general - there are two of them in the hotel, separated by a bar on the beach.
In a half-hour walk with a stroller, the village of Gouvia - there are yachts, etc.
And the town itself - taverns, bars, souvenir shops. We liked walking there - 3-4 times we went.
The city is 5 minutes away - either free of charge on the hotel bus in the morning, or 15 euros in a taxi. Or there is still a nearby stop (300 meters) - city.
Renting a car through an operator (Labyrinth) was 2 times more expensive than we rented through the Internet. It cost us 133 euros for 3 days with ALL insurances WITHOUT deductible + 2 chairs (Hyundai i30).
And the Operator offered a similar class for 250 - if you add all the insurance, cat. it does not originally include chairs.
Renting a car for 3 days paid off with us by going on an excursion ourselves, cat. the operator offered it for a price - it costs 55 per adult and 27 per child (this is a steamer with a transparent bottom), and in the port this steamer runs every hour and tickets for it are 14 adults and 8 children after 5 years.
Or else we went to Paleokastritsa and bought a ticket for a steamboat there ourselves - also something like 20 per adult came out.

And the operator wanted to take 55 + 55 + 20 for this, it seems = in general, horror, how they tear up money!
Renting a car is profitable.
We didn’t take a deposit for the car, because. there was a full insurance and it turned out already it didn’t matter if it was scratched or not. The keys were simply thrown away at the reception and that's it.
We rode on a boat with Vasils that stands on the hotel pier. 20 euros per person for 3 hours.
Oh, I liked it. We were two families, and maybe at least one family, but we invited friends, it was more fun.
I only warn you that on an excursion it is necessary to take something for the child in which he swims - a circle, a vest or armlets, if the child still does not know how to swim, because. then the boat does not moor right at the shore, but somewhere in 15 meters, and there it is far to the bottom and you have to swim.
It's good that I took the vests, otherwise the children would be sitting on the boat!
Nobody warned about this!
Of excursions with a child from the age of 7, I advise you to climb into the fortress in the city, and there are two of them, and if you plan only one for inspection, then the cat will be more interesting for the child. in the city center - they call it new, although it is from the 16th century. And that cat. on the cape it is of the 11th century, but there you just climb to the top to see the view, so to speak, and in the new one you walk through the "rooms", the ruins.
In general, my son and I liked the new one more.
