I was on holiday in Corfu. My mission was a pilgrimage, I really wanted to get to Spiridon, but there were no hotels at reasonable prices in the city, so I booked a room in the village of Benitses. It is not far from the city of Corfu, it takes about fifteen minutes by bus. At first I was a little upset, but then I realized that I was incredibly lucky. Not only are the prices at the Loutrouvia hotel affordable, but it is also located near the Church of St. Paraskeva the Great Martyr. True, you need to go uphill to the monastery, but it's worth it, there is also a source.
The hotel itself is very good. The sea view is amazing! The food is delicious and there is free internet access. The air conditioner helped a lot. There is also a fish tavern downstairs. There was a Russian speaking waitress. I want to say the prices there, they don’t bite, but in the shops everything is very expensive.
The beach is just across the road, umbrellas and sunbeds were provided free of charge. Grabbed soft drinks from the bar. Therefore, I had a very good rest: in the morning to work, and in the afternoon to the beach!
