This is my second vacation in a row in Greece. The first time I was in Rhodes - there were wonderful impressions. This year I decided to relax in Corfu for a change. First, about the island itself: The island itself is beautiful, full of greenery with many flowering plants. Beautiful coves with good beaches, there are no stones. The beaches in the south of the island are especially good. Be sure to rent a car - you won't regret it. It was in June, it seemed that the humidity was too high. It is obvious that a certain negative was introduced by the hotel - Marbella - Corfu. Located in the town of Agios Ioannis Peresteron. It is positioned as five stars, but in reality it is a three. Settled in a very unpresentable room overlooking the wall of the utility room. After the indignation, they moved to a room on the first floor, corresponding in size to two stars. In a bathroom combined with a toilet, it was possible to go from the shower to the sink or toilet only with the door completely closed. It is impossible to stay together at the same time due to crowding. Well, the rest of the delights in the form of huge cockroaches. There was constant humidity in the room: it was in the room, since in the bathroom the water on the floor never dried up, and you can only wipe it off using all the towels, and the maid removed the water by calling the reception only once. It was not possible to take a shower and not get puddles of water. In general, the cleaning was disgusting, since the killed cockroaches were swept out only two or three times. I took all inclusive, but most likely it's in vain - there are a lot of cafes where you can have a bite to eat. Although I don’t complain about the food at the hotel, in this respect everything is normal. The beach is large but built on a cement platform with sand on top. You jump from the platform or go down the stairs (three pieces) and you get to the depth. The water is clear, there is a pebble beach nearby with a gradual entrance. The territory is large, but stupidly organized - some stairs. Excursions to Paleokastritsa, in Ahelio and on a boat, in principle, were not bad, but when they rented a car, it became clear that the price tag on the excursion was shamelessly charged. As a final description, I can say that it is certainly interesting to visit Corfu, but you need to be more careful when choosing a hotel: without chasing the stars, I would choose SUNSHINE or GREEKOTEL.
