The first thing we noticed upon arrival was the air. The island is humid and breathable. This climate suits us very well. We got to the hotel quickly. The first hotel was ours. The hotel is located on a slope 8 km from the center of the island. We were greeted at the reception by the owners. Spouses Janis and Sherel. Very nice people. The room was surprisingly ready, despite our early check-in. I got a room with a view of the road. This, of course, upset. But Janis promised to move us in 3 days to another side with a sea view, which he did.
The room is modest but clean. There is a TV, refrigerator and air conditioning. Sherel prepares breakfast for everyone every morning. You feel like you are visiting them. Everything is very homey. Access to the sea through the territory of the neighboring hotel Oasis. There is a choice to go to an equipped beach with sunbeds (2 euros) and a bar or to a wild one.
On a wild beach, a more convenient entry into the sea, there is sand. The sea is very clean. It's a pleasure to swim in it. Even at the Oasis hotel, the reception sells bus tickets (1.7 euros) and the driver already has 2.3. Bus number 6, runs quite often on weekdays. We also rode a green bus to Mesongi village. There are many different shops, taverns and a nice pebble beach.

There is an airport near the hotel, so we often sat on the balcony of our room with a glass of Greek wine and watched the planes land. We rented a car for two days and went to see the north of the island. I would like to say that the vaunted Canal of Lovers did not impress us, but Paleokostritsa is the opposite. An amazingly beautiful place. I also strongly advise you to go to Afionas, Peroulades and Pelekas.
We were very pleased with our vacation! Thanks to everyone who took part in this!
