Hello! I want to share a joyful event)) In early June, my beloved and I celebrated our wedding! Preparation took a lot of time and money, so we did not plan a honeymoon. But at the last moment we decided that we needed at least a week of rest after such a grandiose event.
The choice fell on Corfu - the greenest of the Greek islands. I didn’t want the hustle and bustle, I wanted privacy, so we booked not a large hotel complex, but apartments. Our Vasilis Apartments are located next to the picturesque fishing village of Sidari and a very romantic place - the Lovers' Canal! )) According to legend, a couple in love, in order to be together forever, must swim across it by the hands, and of course we decided to do it.
Sidari has unrealistically beautiful sunsets and an amazing sandy beach! It took about 7 minutes to walk from our apartments to the beach. Umbrellas and sun loungers on the beach are paid, of course, but without paying extra you can sunbathe on the territory of Vasilisa on a green lawn on sun loungers. We took a studio room, everything you need is in the room and I was pleased that it is quite spacious. The apartments work without meals, the room has a kitchenette with a stove, kettle and utensils. Like all lovers, we didn’t want to get out of bed for a long time, so it was convenient that we didn’t have to rush for breakfast; ) A pleasant moment was the availability of free Wi-Fi in the hotel, after all, working moments sometimes need to be solved, and photos on Instagram I want to throw "online"))

Products for breakfast were usually bought in a supermarket, which is located 50 meters from the apartments, they had lunch and dinner in taverns, since in Greece there are huge tasty portions, very varied cuisine and relatively inexpensive prices. Near the beach, in the center of the village, there are many cafes and taverns, especially with amazing seafood. Fresh in Greek taverns cannot be compared even with our most pathos restaurants in terms of taste, of course.
By the way, there are water sports on the beach, good diving, there is a water park in Sidari, and from the port you can go on an excursion to the Diapontia Islands.
So despite the spontaneous trip and a very quick choice of hotel, the rest was a success. There is something to remember, and there will be something to tell the children! ))
