Have you seen birds flying tail first? There are many of them on Kos! ))) The winds on Kos are such that such “proud birds” as wooden tables, chairs and deck chairs fly. We also saw a knife and a fork flying by (thank God! ). Blue domes is located in a very interesting place: it seems to be between the mountain and the sea, but the wind mostly blows from the mountain, less often along the coast; the winds are strong, but there are no waves - the wind blows off the water dust from the surface of the sea and it turns out something like a snowdrift. Never seen this before. . .
The hotel did not like:
- upon arrival, you can really expect the rooms until 16.00, but we were lucky, and they gave the room right away, but the luggage waited for two hours. Every half hour at the reception we were told that things would be in the room in five minutes. As a result, the husband himself called the mini-car for luggage and drove for it.

- the Russian-speaking girl at the reception was asked to exchange a large bill upon arrival, as it was necessary to make a deposit for beach towels (10 euros each), to which they received an answer that there was no small money, but in any store they would change us. When we approached an English-speaking employee with the same question 30 minutes later, she without a word took out a pack of euros and asked what banknotes we wanted to receive.
- the room was luxurious, but the lock on the front door did not work - it opened from any push. While talking with Russian-speaking employees, there was no result. On the third day of our stay with the door open, we again turned to the English-speaking girl at the reception and after 5 minutes the door was repaired.
Hence the moral - learn English)))
- bathrooms and showers are not very reasonably made. The water from them just splashes on the floor and even climbs into the room.
The hotel liked:
Everything else was just great!!!!!
- The sea is clean, there are a lot of sun loungers and at any time you could find a place under the sun.
- The rooms are large. Wardrobes are very competently made - they are illuminated inside the wardrobe and have a photocell. Conveniently!
- The bar in the room was replenished every day. But if you don't drink ice water, don't leave it on the nightstands - they throw it away.
- The food is varied and delicious. VERY tasty food in the Asian restaurant. You can have a bite to eat in small restaurants around the bar - there without an appointment. The ice cream parlor is open until 2 am!
- There are indeed queues in the main restaurant, but you can come at a time when there are fewer people. In general, these queues move very quickly. You will have to stand if you go to sit in the fresh air in the evening, or vice versa, if they don’t plant on the veranda due to the weather.
- The bartender Mario works at the bar (sometimes in front of the main restaurant, sometimes in a round bar in the middle of the pools), he makes amazing cocktails. Ask him for a cocktail with hot milk, just don't drink it quickly! )))
- I liked that minors wear bracelets of a different color and there were no cheeky youth anywhere.
- If it is cold to swim in the sea, you can swim in the pools. In any, except those that are adjacent to the villas.
- The territory is large and beautiful.
- The staff is very friendly.
Now for some hopefully useful information:

- By appointment, you can visit four restaurants: Asian, Mexican, Italian and Greek. Asian and Mexican - dinner only. You can sign up in the conference hall from 11 to 12 or from 18 to 19. They register only the next day and you need to sign up for dinner in the morning, because. by the evening all the places will be occupied, and you can only get in for lunch.
- Everyone recommends visiting the volcanic island of Nisyros, but you need running shoes to visit it, because. there is hot earth with small stone, i. e. you need closed toes and thick soles.
- We did not go on a sightseeing tour, but judge for yourself: the tour costs 55 euros, and a simple car, if you have a license (not necessarily an international standard), you can take for 60 euros plus gasoline. We got to Asklepion 30 minutes before closing (open until 17.00, admission 4 euros), the heat was such that we survived there for only 20 minutes. We did not see a single excursion, which means they went earlier, when it was even hotter. In such an environment, you don’t want to listen to the guide at each broken column. Although I may be wrong. . .
- We took a convertible for 120 euros. Enjoyed a lot!! ! Gasoline should be taken for 20-25 euros per day, because. the island is not large (50 km long and a maximum of 10 km wide).
- When leaving the hotel on the road with markings, there will be a turn to the right in the direction of Kos (there is a sign). This turn is for extreme lovers, because. the road will go uphill and turns into a real serpentine with 90-degree turns. Without markings and fences! We turned off... It was so scary that I couldn’t even take pictures and at the first opportunity we moved off this road, because. after a short descent, she climbed even higher into the mountains!!!
- Be sure to visit Plaka - a forest where peacocks live. Get some sweet cupcakes for them. And if you love cats, then something for them!

- We took a trip to the Greek party in the village of Zia (price 50 euros). It was promised: a walk through the village along the street of souvenirs, descent to the platform where you can take pictures at sunset, dinner, a concert program and dessert at the end! We got: 30 minutes of jogging through souvenir shops, boarding a bus on which tourists from Kos arrived (they were not allowed to leave the village at all). It took a VERY long time to drive with cars along the serpentine to the site where the main action took place. By the time we got to it, we managed to take two photos and the sun fell below the horizon. They seated us in such a way that we looked at the backs of the speakers throughout the entire program. Dinner was not edible except for kebabs. The skewers were amazing!! ! Dessert turned out to be small pieces of watermelon at the rate of two per nose. And the most important thing. The party lasts from 8 to 11 pm. If you are ready to listen to sirtaki-style music for all these three hours, then this party is for you! We were terribly tired of this music, although we played and sang and danced wonderfully. But VERY the same! And when the evening ended and we all got on the bus, the driver asked in broken Russian if we wanted music, the whole bus howled: “Not Greek! ” But the driver did not know Russian well and all the way to the hotel we listened to the same sirtaki....
- Not far from the hotel is the village of Kardamena. There you can buy cosmetics based on olive oil in the supermarket cheaper than in other places where we have been. You can rent a car there cheaper than at a hotel, but they say that there is not full insurance and you will also have to return it to Kardamena and get to the hotel yourself. There is nothing else to do in this village!
- Souvenirs are the cheapest in Zia, but cosmetics are much more expensive there even than in Kos!
- Take conditioner and hair masks with you. Long hair cannot be combed without them! But styling products on Kos are useless - the wind will still style it in its own way and no varnish will keep the hair in its original form!
- In the room you will find a hair dryer, soap, shower gel and shampoos (soap-rinds are not replenished), towels, bathrobes and slippers. I read on some site that there are toothbrushes in the rooms, but this is only possible in villas. There are two sheets on the beds. They just cover them so that it seems that she is alone!
- Since the floor in the room is slippery, when it is wet it is dangerous! Use towels in the form of rugs and beach slippers in the form of home.
- Try not to sunbathe from 12 to 15. You don't feel the heat in the wind and you burn instantly. And use creams with strong protection for the first days!
That's like everything. Have a nice rest!!!!!!! !
