We rested in Mitsis Family Village with my husband and seven-year-old son last year, in June. In general, I liked the hotel, although it is located quite high, for us this is normal. But if you travel with a child who is still being carried in a stroller, then it may be more difficult, since there are many stairs, drops, descents and ascents. Again, not so close to the beach, not the first line. The beach itself is quite comfortable, small pebbles, for me slippers are not needed, but this is whoever loves it. Right on the beach there is a Greek tavern, a bar, so for lunch, in principle, you don’t have to go up to the hotel. The sea is relatively clean. The hotel has a beautiful area, lots of greenery and flowers, friendly staff. Our room was standard, good linen and towels, the mini-bar was replenished every other day, there were no complaints about the furniture and plumbing. From the balcony, the view was stunning of the sea, yet there are some advantages when the hotel is on the mountain. They feed vacationers in the restaurant, there is a lot, varied, tasty, it makes no sense to list everything, but I think there will be no dissatisfied with the food. Downstairs there is a water park common to all neighboring Mitsis, admission is free. The animation at the hotel is not bad, but we often went to the Blue Domes so as not to get bored. The nearest settlement is Kardamena, about 5 km away, there is a scheduled bus there. We took a sightseeing tour of the island, saw all the popular sights, and also went to the island of Nissiros. I would recommend the hotel to almost everyone who is not afraid of ups and downs.
