We purchased a standard DBL room, but for some reason they settled in a family room - it consists of 2 rooms (with a large bed in one and two extra beds in the other room and a large bathroom combined with a toilet). Also, these rooms are further from the sea and the reception, and you need to climb from the sea, on the contrary, uphill, the road goes to the hill. . . Sea view of course, but the sea is far away. And yes! There were ants in this room, even a whole ant track. . . We complained, but not immediately poisoned them, then the smell stood. They asked to be moved to another room, especially since we seem to have been paid, which of course they did. But after staying there for one night, I asked to return, since the room was next to the room where the animation took place and it was impossible to rest, the audibility was good there - you could hear how they use the toilet, or the neighbor is snoring. Other people said that it was quiet there, you could hear the sound of the sea in the morning, but we were not lucky. Otherwise everything is good, food is decent, service is good. True, what else surprised me - we didn’t see anything like this anywhere, especially in 5 * - an iron (by the way, not very good), towels and other things are given against a deposit - you leave the money, they give it back when you return things. Very expensive excursions from our tour operators, if we have an excursion to Nisyros that costs 50 euros, then the Germans have 35, for example. I asked why it was so, they answered that ours should be certified, but it costs money)). Therefore, we did not take excursions, we went everywhere ourselves. A boat from Kardamena goes to Nisyros - a ticket for a person costs like 16 euros (if memory serves. . but somewhere like that... ), you come there for another 8 euros per person for a bus. In general, the savings are decent. We also went to the city of Kos by bus, you can get around everything close by yourself. In general, I liked the island. Yes, the sea is still cold in May - 19 degrees. . . You can go to the sources, but every day you don’t run into them - it’s far away. . .
