The hotel is located on the second line, about 100 meters from the sea, about 700 meters from the center (square with a fountain). The hotel itself is quite well-groomed - I didn’t notice any particular deterioration or scuffs. There is no territory as such, like most hotels located directly in the city. However, there is a courtyard with a small pool and sun loungers around it.
It was noisy at night - from the corridor the noise reached us from the reception or the opening and slamming doors of neighboring rooms.
The room has air conditioning, but it can only be turned on and off. To turn it on, you need to insert a special keychain on the keys into a special slot.
Breakfast is continental, typical for three or even slightly higher levels: boiled eggs, white bread, butter jam, one type of cheese and sausage, 2 types of cereal - milk, tea, coffee, orange juice. A couple of times there were canned peaches. The bathroom is brand new, as if after renovation, the water pressure is good (perhaps because our room was on the first floor). There was always hot water if allowed to run (up to 5 minutes). There is no bidet or hair dryer, which is generally typical of hotels where we stayed in Greece.
WiFi in our room took little - sometimes it was possible to connect, but often lost its charge - I had to go to the lobby.
The hotel was mostly Russians and Poles. There is Russian staff, all receptionists speak English.
I will be glad to answer any questions about Loutraki.

It all started with the fact that at the airport, at the border control, we were asked to stand in two queues, one only for European people, and for everyone else. There were a lot of Asians on our flight, so at first we considered ourselves European people, but damn it, it turned out that we were not white at all and they created a long queue of us. Everything continued at the counter of the Budget rental office, where we booked a car. When it came to a driver's license (we have a pink card), we were told that it was not good, let's get an international one. Although it is absolutely international and we took cars on them in Germany, Spain, Croatia without any problems. It immediately seemed that we didn’t want a car for everyone for the same reason: we are not European people, we are Russians! This opinion was subsequently confirmed by other tourists. At the next counter of Avis, we were told that they would give us a car according to our rights without any problems, although their price was exorbitant. They did not take. Further, the island of Mykonos, we rent 4 ATVs and go to explore the island. It was in the evening. One of them breaks after half an hour. . We call the office, they say that you ran out of gas, and this is not our problem. Briefly sent. The problem was this - quadrics 50 cubic meters, they barely go uphill and the transmission overheats a lot. After half an hour, he stops going at all. Okay, cooled down, somehow brought it on, let's go to the gas station. . done, let's move on. . after 10 minutes the first quadric gets up again, and after another 5 another one breaks. As a result, instead of walking around the island, we carried two quadrics on ourselves to the office, and then on the eleventh number we went to the yacht. In the morning we came to the office, where it was already full of people, and showed us the type, let's work for another half a day. They sent us again and tried to smear that we took the quadrics with full tanks, and returned them with empty ones, although everything was exactly the opposite. It’s good that they didn’t say that we broke them. It is also worth noting that you can take a quadricycle there with a license and a passport, but we, as Russian people, were told that the passport is not good, carry your license. And they gave them for half a day at the price of the whole referring to the fact that they were already booked in the morning. In general, the legend that Mykonos is a pido island. . owls, I fully confirm! The rest of the journey was kind of smooth. I will only note that the city of Athens makes a depressing impression with its devastation. In the very center there are a lot of abandoned shabby buildings with collapsed roofs, everything is somehow dirty, filthy. . as if in the apartment of drunks, where no one cleans. I was pleased with the Acropolis, the entrance costs 12 euros, thousands of people visit it a day, it’s just not crowded, and it has been standing in the forests for so many years. For the loot that they shake off tourists, it was possible to build another 100 such acropolises throughout Greece, and in their original form. In general, they also know how to master budgets well. The final point, surprisingly, was put by our dear, and dearly beloved Aeroflot since childhood. When we flew back, there were many foreign tourists on our flight. We sat in the tail, And behind us there were 3 more times with foreign tourists, and two rows in front of us. In general, when they were delivering food, With all the foreign tourists, sushi-pusi, but what do you want, fish or meat, but it’s gently hot, but we have such and such a sauce for the meat. . in English they offer white and red wine. As a result, when the turn comes to us, the food cart just drives past to the next foreign tourists, when everyone around is already champing, we are simply silently put on the tables what is left (it was a fish) without asking anything and in the Russian version of wine we are no longer offered . In general, as soon as they could they zachmyril, and the dough in Greece is just VERY expensive. And our euros are not as good as those of the same Asians, for example. I personally have not experienced such a feeling that you are a second-class person for a long time. Moreover, when I was in Greece 10 years ago, among our tourists, this topic was raised many times. But I forgot about it for a long time, now I had to remember. As a result, I categorically do not advise you to go to Greece with your Jews, Croatia, for example, is much more interesting, both the mainland and the islands.

The territory of the hotel is a small courtyard with a small swimming pool. Rooms are standard with standard furniture. There is one Russian channel on TV. In our room, the door to the toilet did not close and the handle fell to the floor. The shower is designed in such a way that when washing, all the water flows over the floor, i. e. shower from the rest of the bathroom is separated only by a partition. There are no hooks to hang clothes. There are very few sockets in which the current is somehow weak, because. the mobile phone was charging 3 times longer than usual.
The rooms facing the street are very noisy, it is impossible to sleep with an open balcony. In the rooms overlooking the courtyard, the neighbors on the balconies thumped all night and also did not let you sleep. The soundproofing between the rooms is terrible, you can hear everything.
Meals are the same every day: cheese, ham, jam, boiled egg. At the same time, if you need an early breakfast to go on an excursion, then the owners of the hotel are not allowed to eat before the set time, even for 15 minutes. And if they give out dry rations, then this is a sandwich from a nearby supermarket and a bag of juice.
Almost only Russians live in the hotel.

On the main page, according to the reviews of other tourists at night, it was simply impossible, because. cars and motorcycles without mufflers drove at full speed (they allow it), the roar of the engine, music for everything and other such delights.
From the hotel to the beach, walk about 3 minutes, the beach is pebbly, sunbeds and umbrellas can be taken anywhere by buying some drinks at the nearest cafe.
The food at the hotel was different. For all 2 weeks that we stayed there, the breakfast menu never changed: tea, juice (such as "Yupi"), coffee (terrible), milk diluted with water, 2 types of corn flakes, sliced cheese and ham plus bread. That's all there was for breakfast.
The owners of the hotel are 2 Greek brothers. Very friendly, intelligent, educated people, always happy to help and suggest. Room keys are requested to be left at the reception. There is free internet in the lobby, there is a computer.
The rooms are the simplest, no frills, not very new, only the bathroom after renovation. There is air conditioning, TV, fridge and balcony. The balcony, coupled with the neighboring room, is separated only by a glass partition, and that is purely symbolic. If you wish, you can also look and chat with neighbors.
They cleaned the room every day, but once they cleaned it so that when we returned from the beach to the room, we did not find a single towel and sheet on the bed. The next day everything was returned, but the unpleasant aftertaste remained. Another of the minuses is that in the morning for cleaning, the staff practically broke into the room. The woman knocked on the door once and immediately opened it.
A hotel for a relaxing holiday. Of the vacationers, there are many foreigners, there were very few Russians with us. Germans mostly.
The hotel has no territory, but there is a small swimming pool, and around beautiful orange and lemon trees, around sunbeds and umbrellas, there are tables.
Near the hotel, on the main street, there is a grocery supermarket, a communication salon, where you can buy a local SIM card.
In general, if you are not going to sit still and you are interested in outdoor activities, then Bacos is quite a worthy option for this.
The sea is mostly clean, but when there are waves and wind, it can be very dirty, a bunch of plastic bags and similar benefits of civilization are nailed to the shore. Cozy cafes and taverns are located one after another on the embankment. Some have menus in Russian and the waiters know a little Russian. The price for lunch and dinner usually came out for two 20-25 euros, with a salad, second course and wine. Portions are gigantic in all cafes, so you can order one dish for two. Because of this, they everywhere practice taking food with them. They give food containers and bags. You need to choose a cafe according to the principle where the Greeks themselves and in general a lot of people sit, where they feed deliciously and the prices are democratic.
As for the shops in Loutraki, you need to be prepared for the fact that they simply do not work for half of the day. The Greeks are terribly lazy in this regard, they simply do not want to work, so they have an eternal siesta for half a day. Stores close for a break at 2pm and open at 6pm. In a word - loafers. On Sundays, almost all shops are closed.
Not far from Bakos there is a wonderful souvenir shop, the owners are Russians, the director's name is Fedor. The store is located near the fountains on the main street. There we were given comprehensive information, where something is located, where you can go to have fun, eat, etc. In addition to this, we were given big discounts on souvenirs. So we recommend that you contact there if you are interested in inexpensive souvenirs and information on what to do in Loutraki.

I rested at the Bakos Hotel in September 2009. I must say right away that for lovers of Turkish holidays, "all inclusive" is not suitable. But for a quiet relaxing holiday, it's just right. One of the advantages is the sweetest, most friendly staff (Bacos family), unfortunately they do not speak Russian, but if you remember at least 10 words in English, then you can easily understand each other. … More ▾ I rested at the Bakos Hotel in September 2009. The hotel is considered one of the cheapest in Loutraki, but nevertheless corresponds to the "three rubles", as well as price-quality. Before the trip, I read horror stories about this hotel, but was pleasantly surprised. I had a favorable impression of this hotel.
