5.10. 2008. Were with company. We lived in a residence overlooking the sea. Bathtub with hydromassage. The safe in the room is free, but very small (only for money and jewelry). The attitude of the staff (and the Greeks in general) is wonderful. Service is proactive. cleaning every day is perfect. Lots of stuff in the bathroom. Beach towels are also changed every day. Breakfasts are monotonous (the so-called "European" breakfast). Dinner is good. Drinks are expensive, but that's what the restaurant is for. . . There are Russian-speaking staff both in the restaurant and at the reception. Even the porter caught a Russian Greek. There are a lot of Greeks from Russia in Loutraki. Greek people are sociable and friendly. In the taverns of Loutraki you can have a delicious meal. The best fish cuisine (you can choose the fish yourself) - in the Maistrali tavern (on average 40 euros per person with local wine), the best meat cuisine nearby - in the Strunga (or Strunk) tavern - 20 euros per person. with whiskey incl. . In October there are strong winds, then the heated indoor pool in Pogseidon helps a lot. . . The sea is clean and cool for my taste, you can go not by steps but by small pebbles (without stones and hedgehogs), but, of course, with caution. We swam to our heart's content in the warm Aegean Sea and sunbathed on sandy beaches during a tour of the islands and the Corinth Canal. Rich Greeks run into the hotel on Fridays and Saturdays. We did not see any cars, no exhausts, nothing of the kind that some reviews write about. But the Greeks took our favorite places in the bar, closed the dance floor and walked there themselves. That's all the inconvenience. There are many other places in Poseidon where you can sit and relax well. . . Travel with a group, you'll love it.
