Aithrio 2+
We bought a last-minute ticket from the Solvex-Tourne company in St. Petersburg to the Peloponnese peninsula to the apart hotel Aithrio 2+
Departure took place on time from Pulkovo 1 to Arachos airport (military airport)
From St. Petersburg on Fridays, once a week, a Tatar Airlines charter flies back and forth (in the Pulkovo 1 timetable, you can find out about the flight time 12 hours in advance, not earlier)
Back, too, everything went smoothly and calmly.
Arrived in Greece, we were met,
put on a bus and taken to the hotels.
I will say right away in Greece not for the first time, we love this country very much, its hospitality, its awesome cuisine, crayfish, tsipura, ouzo, various wines, desserts, seafood, sea, sun. (there is something to compare with)

The hotel turned out to be a very cozy, nice and calm place, clean, well-groomed, green, many flowers, located on a rock to the sea, about 85 steps down, respectively, the same amount up. (a special man guarded in the shade on the beach during the day) umbrellas were free, but because the beach is a little dirty (habariki, small garbage, lying around, although the urns are often), lying on the pebbles is not very pleasant ((.
Our room was spacious with a kitchen, air conditioner, stove, dishes, the room was cleaned regularly every two days (linen and towels were changed), a charming balcony with wicker chairs and a table (a lot of mosquitoes, they were saved only by fumigators)
This is where all the positive qualities of the hotel end!!!
The hotel is located in a remote village, the nearest bus stop is in Kato Ahaya (4.5 km on foot), shops are open until three in the afternoon three times a week (Mon, Wed. Fri), then all shops are closed) all grocery stores are respectively in the same place (supermarket works until 7 pm, every day) I got the impression that they don’t want to work in this place in the Peloponnese at all, either a siesta or something else. Based on reviews on the Internet, I learned that you can take a taxi to Kato Achaia ( 7 euros one way), when we rested there, the Greeks were on strike and it was not realistic to call a taxi))) On the day of arrival, we had the imprudence to walk to this village on foot, we got there well along the seashore through the fishing village, found a very cozy tavern (several more times they returned to it), had dinner with huge shrimp (55 euros per kilogram), then calmly reached Kato Achaia.
I will remember the way back for a long time! When it got dark, the navigator took us on a “short path” through the village of Niforeika, the road passed along the carriageway. the Greeks do not walk on foot (as our guide Elena explained to us, they have four cars for a family of four), there are thorns all around, the road is very winding; the Greeks rush like crazy, not slowing down on turns, the road is narrow; funeral houses, creepy, and only ((.

We walked several kilometers in the dark, got lost, the navigator stubbornly did not want to take us to the hotel (because he sees Niforek, and the hotel is still 2.5 kilometers away), we can say we were lucky, we caught the car, the Albanian who is in it I was driving from the neighboring Pavlina hotel (I helped him out a lot), as it turned out later that they don’t catch rides, and no one stops !!!!
On this, our hiking ended, we rented a car (the mountains, ruins, remote villages, mountain serpentine, wine cellars, rolled over a lot), thanks to a separate guide Elena helped with car rental, because the nearest rental office in the city of Patras, and there, as I already wrote, you can only get from the nearest village or by taxi (38-40 euros one way), rental prices are set from the bulldozer 1 day 60 euros from 3 days 50 euros, and when we agreed on the car, full insurance was promised ( Like CASCO, which includes wheel glass, bottom, roof, etc. ), but in fact it turned out to be OSAGO, and even with a Franchise of 600 euros, that is, if it didn’t seem enough ((((, but you don’t have to look for another I wanted to, plus the fact that the car was driven directly to the hotel, and they took it there.
Food is another story too.
There are no grocery stores nearby, there is a market in the nearby Niforeika beach hotel (cigarettes, beer, water, yogurts, souvenirs), there is a mini-market in the village of Niforeika (about three kilometers), the assortment is not much richer, 2-3 taverns in the fishing village ( 2 km along the sea) and a cafe in Pavlina (open from 1.30 to 1.00), the tavern of our hotel did not work, because September is no longer the season. I felt very sorry for our Russian women who came to this hotel for two weeks without food (hoping that they themselves will cook, there are all the conditions for this, on the day of arrival they were hungry, because they were afraid to walk to the village).
Excursions are expensive from 85 euros per person and there are few of them to Olympia, Athens, Delphi (the hotel is very far away, gasoline costs 1.718 euros and more than a liter), they go to Athens once a week on Fridays (from 110 euros)

Conclusion: there is nothing to do without a car in this hotel and nearby Pavlina and Niforek beach, everything is very far away, the sea of course compensates for a lot (fantastically clean, transparent, pebbles + sand, different, sometimes stormy, sometimes smooth like a mirror, fish, no hedgehogs , super sea !!!!!! It was especially great to swim at night when no one is around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Greece is a fairy tale, as in all fairy tales, everything depends on your financial capabilities.
If you only need the sea and silence for relaxation, then you are here)))), if something else, then with an amount of less than 1500 euros for a week for two, there is nothing to do there or take all inclusive and sit in a hotel by the sea))) , so the local (tired of the bustle of Athens) Greeks do.
