This hotel is comfortable enough for traveling with the whole family, or for those who prefer a relaxing holiday. Mostly Greeks rest in the hotel, there are Spaniards, Italians, Germans, British. There are quite a few Russians, which is a big plus in its own way. Very friendly, kind and interesting people work at Aithrio Hotel.
As for the apartments - very neat, clean and in a seasoned Greek style. They (apartments) have a common room (we had it with two beds: single and double), a small kitchenette (but roomy, you can always cook your own food in it, there are dishes), a shower, a terrace with wicker furniture. Also there is air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, iron. There is free Wi-Fi. There is no safe in the rooms, but you can always leave valuables at the reception or do as we did - in each room there is a closet that can be locked - it was there that we put not only clothes, but also such things as passports, money, tablet, etc.
It is about 100 meters to the sea, you just need to go down the stairs, the type of beach is pebble. Sunbeds are paid, 2 euros, but if you come before 14.00, you can get in so that you don’t have to pay - there is simply no one) There is a pool. Both from the sea and from the pool there is a panoramic view of the city of Patras and the Rio Antirio bridge.

The room is cleaned (according to our calculations) - once every two days.
As for food: you can cook yourself, or you can eat in the tavern on site. The food there is amazing, portions in Greek (large). If you want to take breakfast for yourself, you won’t regret it either (quite full and satisfying). The nearest mini-market is a 15-minute walk, but at the reception you can make an order and then the food will be delivered directly to the hotel and you won’t have to go anywhere (one condition, you need to make an order in the amount of 10 euros).
Another important point for tourists: if you want to buy olive oil or wine, there is a so-called farm near the hotel that sells products of its own collection and production. There are also equally friendly people and an excellent range of natural products, such as cheese, olive oil with and without herbs, honey, wine, various herbal tinctures, etc. The prices for all this will also pleasantly surprise you.
The city of Patras itself is about 1 hour drive: from the hotel you can take a taxi to Katohayo for about 5-7 euros, and from there there is a direct bus to Patras (2 euros one way). Buses run from morning to ten in the evening. In Patras, you can see many attractions, as well as go shopping (but you should not forget that the Greeks are hardworking people, but they also need to rest. Siesta in Greece lasts from about 14.00 to 17.00. So during this period, shops may be closed).
A visit to this hotel will bring you a storm of positive emotions and a great vacation is guaranteed.
