The territory - beautiful pine trees, the aromas are incredible, the grass is watered, the territory is clean. There are enough parking spaces, it would be nice to install surveillance cameras. 1. The territory - beautiful pine trees, the aromas are incredible, the grass is watered, the territory is clean. There are enough parking spaces, it would be nice to install surveillance cameras. But there are also cons, where the sewer hatches are, near the bungalows, there is often a smell of sewage.
2. Rooms - we paid for a bungalow with one room and two double beds, we were given a two-room bungalow - with a double bed, a sofa and a folding bed. The folding bed creaked terribly. And the doors to the bathroom creaked because they were sagging. In general, the rooms are a weak 3, they can be put in order, you just need to walk around and remove the shortcomings - clean the furniture upholstery, replace the rotten drain grates in the bathrooms, remove the old floor lamps. Also, improve the Wi-Fi in the bungalows, because the TV is only local, so visitors can watch youtube. Cleaning every day, clean towels every day.
3. Food is tasty, in sufficient quantity, the assortment is small, I would like vegetables for breakfast with egg dishes, more olives (this is Greece). There are not enough pastries for afternoon tea (cookies, rolls, etc. ). Afternoon tea is not included at all. It is necessary to strengthen control over food, because some children wiped their hands on the bread towel and tasted sauce straight from the ladle.
4. The sea was sometimes warm, then icy - depending on the wind and currents. Sunbeds are occupied by beach towels and go about their business for half a day, and in the evening teenagers from the municipal beach come and also occupy sunbeds, and there are not so many of them. The hotel does not issue beach towels, you have to bring your own, that too -.
5. Weak animation, but the animators are friendly and the children were drawn to them.
6. There is a supermarket nearby, if you turn left and walk a little. Nearby are the bridges, the old fortress, a small port from where ferries go to the mainland (the ferry is free for pedestrians), you can go for a ride or for business. Nearby is a suburban train stop to Patras, runs every 15 minutes.
7. The staff is English-speaking, wonderful and responsive.

Settled quickly. The bungalow was cleaned. Towels were changed. The food is delicious. The water is cold. Nature is beautiful. The room had a safe. Soap supplies were added every day. We all loved it and would love to come back to this hotel! We chose Porto Rio, as they usually choose, in terms of price and quality. There were no questions about the settlement, everything went well. The room was cleaned, everything was changed, the weight is excellent. There are not many hotels with all-inclusive meals in Greece, we had a full board here, drinks were also included in the tour price.

You can ride a ferry for free, which melts cars to the other side of the Ratrava Strait every 15 minutes. every hour there is a train to Patra, a large tourist city (distance 15 min. ), the ticket price, if I remember correctly, is 3 euros. and more than once!!!! ! Ask the staff where it is better to go there and what hours the shops are open. By the way, from mid-July to the end of August, there are 30-50-70% discounts in stores, you can buy good things for a penny))) ) And also take a ride on the ferry (faribot), which departs either in front of the bridge or after the bridge (there are 2 parking lots of ships).
There are problems with wi-fi, it pulls badly....and with 3j (4j) !!!!!!!!!!!! ! bad connection..... on my nokia lumia, only 3 antennas were caught (((((The video on YouTube worked, but not everywhere. I knew in advance and therefore uploaded cartoons and films to a USB flash drive.
I would not advise a fan of a beach with sand to go there !!!!!!!!!!!! !... because the beaches in Rio are made of pebbles..... buy special slippers for yourself or your children in advance. We were lucky all week the water was warm)))) And also frequent winds in Rio can spoil your impression of the whole of Greece..... !!!!!!!!!!!! !
