We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks from late August to early September. We were 6 people: two children (1.5 years and 4) and four adults. Well, what can you objectively say about the hotel? Very, very average in terms of service, food and general atmosphere in the hotel. For some reason this hotel is considered "luxury". We succumbed to the persuasion of the manager from the travel agency and advertising in Traveler magazine, booked this hotel as much as 4 months in advance and, in principle, expected something enchanting. But. . . Hotel reviews on booking. Com, which appeared about two months before the start of our holiday, is completely true. You can carefully re-read them and draw the appropriate conclusions about the hotel.
Yes, the hotel is simply fantastically beautiful in its architecture and the designers have done their best there. On this, the advantages of the hotel can be considered over. The biggest disadvantages include:
1. Expensive in restaurants (dinner for two without alcohol plus a couple of extra salads for children approx. 70 Euro),

2. constant noise in the hotel both at night and during the day (during the day there is music by the pools throughout Ivanovskaya from 11.00 to 19.00, in the evening - music from restaurants - from hours to 2 in the morning, and there are practically no rooms in the hotel that would not go to the restaurant or any swimming pool). Sometimes I felt like I was in Antalya, and not in a super-duper luxury boutique hotel, as it is presented by numerous catalogs of tour operators. I, a city person, very often want silence on vacation, well, at least in the evening, listen to the sound of the wind or the roar of the surf, since the balcony overlooks the bay. And here you are welcome to a trendy restaurant at your side, which, with its roar, blocks not only external sounds, but also your own thoughts. And I’m not even talking about the fact that children need to go to bed not at 2 am, when it becomes quiet in the area.
3. The hotel management does not care at all about their reputation, or about the opinion of their guests about their work, etc. They are, of course, somewhat right, arguing that in these paid 2 weeks you will not get anywhere from the hotel, you will live where they settle and relax as the hotel will offer you. We were settled with our parents in rooms not far from each other, as we asked. In fairness, it must be said that the parents were given a higher category number as compensation, but... We "achieved" this "compensation" for almost a week, communicating with the general manager every day. A very tedious holiday. And the short-sighted position of the leadership.
4. The most important drawback, in our opinion, is that the hotel, positioning itself as suitable for families with small children, is actually not (!!!!!! ) This was probably the biggest disappointment.
First, the lack of silence at any time of the day.
Secondly, there are stairs and steps everywhere - you can’t go everywhere with a stroller. If there is a detour in the right direction, as a rule it is not nearby, but about 50 meters from the desired point. I got tired of walking there with a stroller. As a result, her husband and father-in-law dragged her over the obstacles in their arms.
Thirdly, the sea is absolutely not suitable for kids. Yes, there is sand, but the bottom is uneven and two steps from the entrance to the sea is already up to the neck of an adult (!!!! ) and as a result of such uneven bottoms, I assume that the waves are probably always there, regardless of the season. In our period, the storm was 6 days out of 14. And the rest of the days the sea was still restless and waves. It's really hard for kids, but if the child is still with water on "you", it's better to look for another hotel.

Fourthly, there is no entertainment in the hotel in the evening for children - no children's discos, no shows (no, I'm lying, 2 times there were children's performances for 15 minutes, more like impromptu local residents)
Fifthly, I did not notice any playgrounds within walking distance of the hotel. Playgrounds only in places reserved for children, such as children's clubs. Of course, swings and slides do not fit into the overall interior of the hotel and the design concept of the hotel. As a result, in the evening, the children have nowhere to put themselves after dinner.
There are 2 clubs on the territory of the hotel: for kids at all (from a year old) and for older kids (from 4 years old). The funny thing is that the clubs are located at different ends of the hotel. It’s hard to say who came up with this, apparently, it was assumed that I, a mother of 2 children, would be perfectly normal to dangle between these clubs on a buggy during the day, like an abnormal chicken between two chicken coops. This is exactly the kind of vacation I dreamed of!
However, the water park is also made by people who are far from children. For teenagers and adults, the slides are normal, but for the kids, the slide is still the same, especially the stairs to it. It is made in a pipe where parents can not crawl in any way. The steps are not simple, but recesses in the pipe, rather slippery, I was always worried about the elder when he climbed inside there. There, even a four-year-old was hard to climb alone, and I’m generally silent about the kids.
Conclusion: the hotel is not suitable for families with small children.
And in general it is overestimated both in terms of money and positioning and according to reviews of the last year. Maybe for the Greeks this is heaven on earth, only we, Russians, are more demanding people in terms of rest.
