Therefore, we decided to choose a hotel in Paralia Katerinis, where you can swim on the beach and go out to people in the evening. We lived in the Avra hotel, the most pleasant impressions remained from the rest.

To spend the entire holiday in the hotel, never leaving its territory, is not for us. Therefore, we decided to choose a hotel in Paralia Katerinis, where you can swim on the beach and go out to people in the evening.
We lived in the Avra hotel, the most pleasant impressions remained from the rest. The hotel is located on the first coastline. On the one hand - the sea, on the other - the most atmospheric street of the city. The hotel has friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner are not provided there, but we specifically chose a hotel without meals in order to spend more time in Greek taverns and explore the streets in the city. So we felt like travelers, not ordinary tourists.
We went swimming in the sea early in the morning! The most convenient thing was that you could go to the beach directly from the hotel reception, and we took a room with a sea view, so we constantly admired the Greek landscapes. The room itself was in Italian style, everything is neat, clean, nothing more.
We liked to have breakfast in a bakery not far from us, fresh hot croissants with Greek coffee. They often liked to take coffee with them and meet the day by walking along the waking streets of Paralia.
Of course, not a single lunch was complete without a Greek salad, and every day we tried to dine in different restaurants for the sake of a change of scenery.
A couple of times in the evenings we went to taverns where they cooked seafood. To relax in Greece and not try seafood is a crime, it seems to me, even for those who are not fans of such cuisine.
Of course, not without a trip to Meteora and a visit to the beautiful island of Skiathos. The holiday was a success, we are already counting down to the next holiday!

The sea is right at the exit from the hotel, friendly staff, there are many good cafes along the coast; it is better to go in September, in July it is noisy, there are many loud-voiced Serbs.
