A small cozy hotel a stone's throw from the sandy beach, simplicity of style, spacious rooms, cafe-bar, internet. At 200 m from the hotel, on the waterfront, there are Greek taverns and bars. Recommended for a relaxing family holiday.More →

Our room was small, cozy and clean, cleaning and change of towels every third day. Downstairs there is a shop, in principle, everything you need is there, although we preferred to buy cheese, olives and wine in another shop. Cheese was bought from goat and sheep milk, young wine was taken in small bottles of 0.5 liters, all this was simply incomparable. We went a couple of times to local taverns, ordered seafood and Greek salad, portions are average, mostly we bought vegetables, fruits and everything else and cooked on the terrace in the room. The owner of the hotel, Anastasia, and her husband are very friendly people, which can not be said about their children, son and daughter, they served us breakfast, every morning with a disgruntled expression and once unwell. As for the breakfast itself, every morning fried eggs, two thin slices of cheese and four hams. But a mountain of all kinds of jam in small packs, which we don’t really eat, well, we still constantly put them on the table. On the third day, their coffee machine broke down (our morning cappuccino was gone), the rest of the time they served diluted nescafe, then we bought an electric kettle and coffee ourselves.
The beach is very close, but dirty, there is a lot of rubbish lying around, there are also a lot of people, especially on weekends, the local Greeks themselves come, they mostly shit there. We went swimming a little to the side, but the stones already begin there and you can’t go into the water without slippers.
We didn’t take a guide and a trip tour, but walked 800 meters along the beach to the Poseidon Hotel and rented a car there for three days, the price is 40 EUR per day, including insurance. We visited Olympus (just super) drove to Thessaloniki, there is not much to see there, a few ancient ruins in the city and a white tower, but I really liked the Basilica of St. Demetrius. By the way, they bought a SIM card for the Internet (vodafone 8GB-10EUR) because wifi in the hotel practically did not work.
In general, I got the impression that everything was done in such a way as to tie you to the hotel and book tours only from them. When asked by the guide what is nearby and where to go, we were told there was practically nothing and in general it would be better not to order tours from others, it would be twice as expensive, where to rent a car they answered that they didn’t know, but what good local wine they said they don’t drink. So, thanks to the car, we saw many sights, visited many cities, bought gifts for children and relatives at normal prices.
Last year we were in Rhodes, where we liked it much more.

The hotel is cozy and clean. The owners work hard to make sure you enjoy your stay! They give free meals and give the kids candy. They can take it to the store for free or pay a little further away.
We lived in the building, which is located in the courtyard of the hotel. It is good because the yard is almost closed and you don’t have to worry that the child will run away. There is also a building opposite the hotel, behind the parking lot. It's newer and the rooms are a little better. But it's close to the road. If there are free rooms, the owners can relocate you to the building they like.
There are many children in the hotel, there are people to play with.
The beach is 2 minutes walk from the hotel. You can get an umbrella and a sun lounger by buying drinks at the beach bar. Or just buy an umbrella for 8-12e. It is very convenient that from 4 o'clock on the beach there are shady patches of trees. The sea is clean, there is enough space on the beach for everyone.
There is not much to see in Skotina. We went for a walk in Panteleimon. In addition to hotels and taverns, there are butchers, bakeries and souvenir shops. You can reach them in 15 minutes along the road, overgrown with huge trees. The road itself is beautiful, as is the rocky beach at the foot of the Panteleimon fortress.
I would like to advertise a very nice village - right opposite the fortress of Panteleimon. Landmark - a church with a clock. In addition to this nice little church and stunning views in all directions, there are tangerine, fig, lemon trees and the best tavern in the area! It's just a tourist's dream! Stunning views in all directions, live music, few people, delicious food, prices, as elsewhere, and even a dessert as a gift! This tavern is conditionally located on the second platform from the parking lot. This is almost the only flat place of large size. Have fun!
We were also taken to the upper Panteleimon or a stone village. There is something to see. But with a pram on a rocky road it was not very convenient. We paid only the fare 25e.
Our neighbor Athanasius took us to Platamon for 10s. There is a promenade with a pier, fish taverns and shops. We had dinner at the Limanaki tavern right on the waterfront. A fish plate for two cost us 20s + wine and local vodka 5s. Everything is very tasty and satisfying. They also took it home. We took pictures against the backdrop of boats and yachts, rolled the child on a swing and went home.
In the hotel room, we lacked: dishwashing detergent, garbage bags, washcloths for washing dishes, cutting boards, soap, shower perfumes, mosquito repellent, room slippers (in the bathroom after a shower it is very wet).
But in the bathroom I was pleased with the stand-step for the child and the mop with a rag (the floor was washed several times a day because of the child and from ants).
There is air conditioning. Fits well, doesn't blow.
At the reception you can iron your things. As for washing, I won't say anything. We washed ourselves.
The hotel has a small shop where you can buy household goods and simple food (milk, cheese, sausages, bread, children's yogurt, vegetables, fruits). For meat - in Panteleimon. Fish are sold in the morning from the car.
We spent 500s on food, having dinner every other day in a tavern. Moussaka, gyros (shawarma), a glass of wine and beer - 15th.
Now about the bad - we will no longer contact the tour operator Mouzenedis. The transfer driver is driven in such a way that everyone is swayed, and in general I almost broke my nose on the front seat. With driving like this, you need to have seat belts in every seat. And our request for a child seat was denied back in Kharkov. The representative accompanying us did not even take us to the hotel, she left earlier))) Yakov also did not show much participation in the hotel. I left my phone number and left. On the way back we were also carried like sacks of potatoes. The same escort was very surprised by our desire to put a stroller with a child sleeping at half past five in the morning in the aisle of the bus (we had no problems with this in Turkey). The stroller did not fit into the bus, and the girl's reaction was like "this is your problem. " The plane on the way back was old and tiny. Airlines Eliner. My husband and I were given tickets in different rows. It is very inconvenient for a child. The stewardess refused to transfer us, although there were empty seats. Good passengers caught good-changed with us.
Cons - For a child of our age, the hotel does not have enough slides or cars. Tour operator Mouzenedis is a complete minus.

At the entrance to the hotel, they tried to put us in a room of less than 10 m2, instead of the declared studio room (25 m2), they referred to the busy season, the lack of rooms, and this is with a tour package purchased and 100% paid from Mouzenidis Travel for 2.5 months ?? ? !! ! After a long wait for the arrival of a representative of Mouzenidis Travel and unpleasant proceedings, we were nevertheless provided with a studio room corresponding to the tour package. Free rooms, of course, were... Excellent attitude towards the Russian tourist!! ! The time from arrival at the hotel, and check-in to the corresponding room, is more than 4 hours... From further communication with the owners of the hotel, I can say that they are kind people, but why did we have to start our acquaintance with nonsense ?!... Upon returning from vacation, we turned to Mouzenidis Travel LLC not even with a complaint, but rather with wishes that the consumer be provided with full and clear information on the hotel page, briefly describing the situation. Here are a few lines from the answer: - On the day of arrival, you were given a Studio room with two rooms ( SOUNDS LIKE A FUCKING ), according to your voucher. When inspecting the room, you did not like the accommodation provided. Due to the Company's customer first policy, you have been assigned another larger Studio with three rooms ( SOUNDS LIKE AN INSULT ) at no additional charge. The room in which we lived, one-room, about 25 m2. - Your wishes regarding the addition of information on the official website of the Company were taken into account. After its verification, all additions will be reflected on the Mouzenidis Travel website. Almost a year has passed... And things are still there. Be careful when choosing this hotel, the hotel page does not provide complete information!
