I spent my summer vacation in Greece, on the Olympic Riviera. A very beautiful place, legendary mountains, wonderful sandy beaches, warm sea are visible from everywhere. Along the coast is a traditional Mediterranean village, Paralia Katerinis. It is always crowded, you can find entertainment for every taste. From traditional taverns where you can listen to live music in the evenings, to noisy clubs and beach bars. And of course there are many shops with local cosmetics and other delights. I lived in Porto Daliani. Small family run hotel, very comfortable and clean. The hotel has a courtyard with a lawn. I had breakfast there. All rooms with balconies. There is a TV, satellite channels, free internet, but air conditioning for 4 € per day, refrigerator, stove, you can cook, but I ate half board. Joanna, the hostess of the hotel, cooked very tasty. The rooms were cleaned every four days. The hotel is located outside the village, but I regarded this as an advantage. Less than ten minutes to the center. But you can rest in silence. Near the hotel there is a mini market where you can rent a bike and a restaurant in a nearby hotel where you can have lunch. I was satisfied with my stay and highly recommend it.
