Lots of sweets and even ice cream. From drinks, I liked red dry wine, there are both pink and white. There are also strong alcoholic drinks, traditional Greek Ouzo and tsiporo. I really liked the Acropolis. the children really enjoyed watching the changing of the guard at the parliament building. And in our free time, walking around the old district - Plaka, we bought a lot of souvenirs, took a bunch of beautiful photos, had lunch in one of the local taverns....in general, happy and satisfied, returned to the hotel with a lot of impressions.
We also went to the island of Skiathos. On the ship, we and our children were entertained by the captain of the ship, on the way we even met dolphins. Arriving on the island, we also had a lot of fun walking along these small streets with white houses, well, from swimming on the beaches with golden sand, we definitely could not remain indifferent. Three restaurants, one in the main building and another on the summer terrace, breakfast and dinner are held in the building, and lunch on the outdoor terrace. The sea is very warm, but there are stones in the sea, so it’s better to buy corals, in addition to stones you can meet sea urchins, the beach itself has pleasant sand, there are pebbles in some places, there is a pier on the beach. If you go from the hotel to the right, then there is a sandy entrance and much more convenient for children. The hotel is quite boring, so it’s worth going here only for a relaxing holiday, in the evenings there is only live music, children are not involved here either. Fortunately, our daughter made friends with the daughter of our neighbors and they were not so bored together. Well, of course, my daughter is happy - various sweets and ice cream. Breakfasts and dinners were held in the main restaurant, lunches - in an open-air tavern. The sea is good calm, but there are stones, so if you plan to go on vacation, be sure to bring swimming slippers, or you can buy it right at the hotel. There is a pontoon from which it is convenient to enter. The pool is large with a children's section, sunbeds are free. On the beach 2 sun loungers and an umbrella - 6 euros. We rented bikes right there - 7 euros - 1 day. Great ride! Of course, there is a lot to see in Greece, but since we are with a child, we chose one excursion to Meteora from our tour operator. Beauty cannot be described in words, and even more so, thanks to our excellent guide Dmitry, we learned a lot of interesting things. So, our 10 days in Greece flew by unnoticed. Alluring white sand at the very edge of the water is suddenly replaced by inhospitable pebbles. No wonder the hotel "mini-market" sells special slippers for entering the water (12 euros). In addition, sun loungers on the beach are paid - 3 euros / sunbed, or 6 euros / "set". The disadvantages of the hotel include its relative remoteness from the "metropolis". To the nearest settlement - the town of Leptokaria (Leptokaria) about four kilometers. However, for those who know how to drive a car, this is not a problem. There is a special person sitting in the lobby of the hotel, from whom you can rent a car for only 35 euros per day. Families with children love to stay at the hotel.
