Chose a hotel based on photos of tourists, having a choice of 5-6 options. This one seemed the nicest. We did not expect unnecessary ponts a la snow-white bathrobes in the bathroom, so were not shocked : )
The first thing that catches your eye - TOO MANY KATSAPS! already on the second or third day all this "akannya" and "chYokannya" caused almost vomiting. There are a lot of signs in Russian in the town, shop assistants know a few words in Russian and try to use them all, but we spoke only Ukrainian and English, even with Russians.

Upon arrival, it turned out that the hotel does not have its own rooms and we were accommodated in rooms at Talea beach (closer to the sea), but the reception, bar, restaurant - all in Attalus, so we were even better. At the reception, one of the girls speaks Russian, the rest - English. Air conditioning should be taken immediately, the first night we tried to sleep without it - bad, so do not squeeze).

The safe is worse, it is not in the room, and there is no reception, we had to pick them up a bit, but still we installed a safe, though - at the reception, but free: -).

The room is small, 9 squares, the room has a bed, bedside table. table, mirror, large closet, telephone, telephone. The bed is VERY creaking: - On the balcony table, two chairs. Rope and clips for hanging clothes should be taken with you or bought in the supermarket. There are no shower gels, etc. There is no hair dryer, the sides of the shower are low, so the floor in the bathroom is wet.

The food is normal, tasty, but without delicacies.
Morning - traditional continental breakfast (eggs, omelet, sausages, fruits and vegetables, bread, jams), lunch and dinner - more common.
Very tasty desserts (pastries, panna cotta, etc. ), fresh fruit every time: watermelon, melon, peaches). Drinks include tea, coffee (for lunch and dinner - at the bar), bad white and rosé wine (the Greeks have tasteless wine, tested and different in bottles - the same effect), bad beer, local analogues of colifantsprite and jupp-like juices, so on breakfast we took orange juice (2 euros), for lunch and dinner - cola, beer, apple juice (the only more or less decent).

The beach is quite dirty (after all, so many Russians are resting! ), But the water is just a fairy tale: clean, transparent, nice! The first days the sea was calm, then the waves rose. The sea is shallow, so there are a LOT of children! All kinds of water activities are quite expensive, so at any hour you can find a free catamaran and jet ski.
Sunbeds and umbrellas were also free, but they were never used, sunbathing on the bedding. Bathed at night - clean, warm, no one drove.

Buying tours at the hotel is very stupid, because the same tours can be bought for 10-30 euros cheaper from independent offices. We are not interested in that: renting a brand new Nissan Micro for two days cost 85 euros. Took in the Rental under the hotel, between "Frozen yogurt" and "Zeus", by the way, all souvenirs can be purchased in the same Zeus, the choice of rates and prices are adequate. In two days we spent 55 euros on gasoline. We drove near the bay of Balos (not by ship, there is a normal road up the mountain, do not believe the dude from the car rental), Chania, Rethymno, the cave of Miladoni, the palace of Knossos, Heraklion. in four days you can really travel around everything interesting in Crete, but the economic benefits are only for the travels of four!
