Bali Mare Apts
Were from 04.06 to 15.06. 2011. Tour operator - Pegasus.
The hotel is located on a hill, right at the entrance to Bali. Perhaps this is a plus, because 1) the closest to go to the stop, 2) it can be a little quieter, because. away from other hotels.
Although, we did not get the desired silence: the partitions are thin, you can hear how the neighbor farts. Well, the northern federal highway is also nearby, but so everywhere, as it seemed to me. Hotels are all near roads.
And mostly hotels are all small, almost without territory, all stuck to each other. This is the Greek style.
Contingent. In Bali Mare, mostly Russian vacationers. I always read in the reviews that they want "where there are fewer Russians" and "mostly only foreigners. " Well, I don't know, why didn't you please yourself? I was more than satisfied with the contingent. There was no free alcohol at dinner and everyone behaved decently.

Our room was number 92 - studio. It was, of course, complete crap. I'm not even talking about outdated furniture and appliances (a small TV, a barely breathing refrigerator) - we were not very interested in these little things. But the location is something: the room itself is under the tennis court (fortunately no one has ever played there), the only window (larger on the floor) overlooked the main building. Those. it was impossible to open it. you would be in front of everyone. The apartments were much better both in terms of location and decoration.
When I chose a studio, I thought that it differs from apartments only in the size of the room. If I knew what the difference was, I would pay extra 1000-1500 rubles. when buying a ticket (the difference was just that). But since it was our jamb, they only blamed themselves, they did not ask for another number.
A lot of people complained about the apartments, but in our situation we would gladly exchange them)))) There were two rooms, plastic windows with mosquito nets (there, by the way, mosquitoes, take fumigators), stretch ceilings, a decent bathroom, an isolated balcony (it's almost like on the street. It's not comfortable. Therefore, we never sat there).
About food.
Breakfast is always the same. Butter, vegetable margarine, sausage, cheese, jam, jam, honey, a bowl of white yogurt, boiled eggs, corn flakes, chocolate paste, biscuit, sometimes oranges. Invite juices (never taken), tomatoes and cucumbers (a very strange solution for breakfast). There was also milk, but very diluted - horror. I poured cereal, because. there was no yogurt for 1 day. Well, I understand that I don’t eat bodyaga. What if it's a child? This is what I think is very ugly.
Breakfasts are monotonous, everyone was strained at the end. But I still have breakfast at home: every day sandwiches with cheese. for me it was not a problem. Although I would like something more interesting.
Dinners. Since the hotel is not large (I think this is the reason), there was not much variety: 2-3 dishes of meat, fish and poultry (if any), salads, side dishes. For dessert, sometimes watermelons, sometimes ice cream, 1 time there was some kind of jelly.
Normal dinners. You won't leave hungry. But at the same time, you should not expect a great abundance. Drinks at dinner are paid. Wine glass 3 euros, carafe 4 euros, water 0.5 l. 1 euro. Greek coffee 2 euros, milkshake 5 euros.

Oh, and the landlady is rude. She just doesn't talk. Hello to her - she is silent. I took the iron, said hello and asked for it in English - silently got up, gave the iron and turned away. What's this? I went nuts. . . Either this is such an extreme form of Russophobia, or she is just a misanthrope. In short, then, they didn’t even react to her, they just turned away and that’s it.
We rented a car at the hotel. Renault Megane Cabrio. for 2 days. 50 euros/day. Insurance is normal. We went on the 1st day: Lake Kourna and Chania, 2nd day - the aquarium and Agios Nikolaos, on the way we stopped at the Church of St. George.
And foolishly they got 3 excursions from Pegasus on the first day. This is what we regret. At first they wanted to take 1 to Santorini and rent a car for 5 days. Then we decided that we would lose a lot if we were without a professional guide. . .
We haven't lost much. The guides were disgusting, except for Marina, who has been living in Greece for 20 years. She told a lot of things, the rest carried some rubbish. It's a shame for Santorini: they let us out like a herd, 600 people through the narrow streets. And the guide with the sign "Mega Jet 8" ran so that it was impossible to keep up with him. Didn't hear anything.... Too bad.
Summary. Three stars in Greece are still the same 3 stars. And those. whoever says that it is like 5 stars in Turkey or Egypt seems to me to be mistaken. We went to a three-ruble note, and apart from the number, we were not particularly disappointed with anything.
Everything!
