My friend and I rested in Crete in the town of Bali from May 19 to May 29.2012. Tour operator TezTUR. Everything is smooth and organized. We arrived at night, Greece met us with unexpected rain and low air temperature. : -) From the plane in Heraklion we were taken to hotels by 12 people. However, we got off at the second stop. That is, it is relatively close to the airport. When we drove up to the hotel, the girl who accompanied us said, “And now we are approaching the best hotel in Bali. » : -) : -) Proud, we swam out of the bus. : -) At the reception we were met by an aged uncle, for some reason we thought that this was a night watchman. He immediately settled us in the room, and satisfied and happy we fell asleep. I really liked the hotel, the staff is friendly and smiling, ready to help at any moment. We spoke English and a little Greek. (well, I printed out a phrasebook on the Internet, it helped a lot) The food is excellent - everything is of high quality and tasty. Unfortunately, I got better... : -(Breakfast: pancakes, porridge, scrambled eggs, fried bacon, scrambled eggs, cheese, sausage, sausages, a lot of fruit, yogurt, cottage cheese, nuts, raisins, dried apricotsTea, coffee, juice Dinner: 2 types of soup, 2 types of meat, 2 types of fish, various salads, seasoned by the way, not with mayonnaise, but with sour yogurt, which is very good. Well, a side dish, respectively, 3-4 types. Ice cream is a must, fruits, watermelons, melons - every day. Do not believe it, not once in 10 days did my stomach hurt, there was no heartburn, and any other filth associated with digestion. For dinner - drinks for a fee. I usually took orange fresh juice with ice. I was struck by the promptness of the waiters - a guy and a girl. Incredibly fast. Cleanliness is kept perfect We had enough time to serve everyone! Just smart people! We had enough breakfasts and dinners, but still three times we visited taverns, for the sake of learning Greek cuisine, so to speak. We went to Tokimo on the shore - not enthusiastic, mediocre. But in Galini - I really liked it! We took a sea plate (squid, m idii, octopuses, three types of fish). The portion is huge. + to this 2 Greek salads + 0.5 white wine and all this pleasure cost only 25 euros. Charming hostess Dina, husband cooks, son helps. Well done! Everything is clean and tidy, and very tasty! The maids at the hotel left a tip for cleaning - they do not take it. We brought Russian chocolate with us. Here it was taken with great pleasure. : -). Cleaned qualitatively, changed towels and linen almost every day. The sea is magnificent and very close, fine sand, sunbeds are paid. The water was clean and invigorating, warming up well only by the end of May. But we liked it. The swimming pool at the hotel is cleaned with a special "vacuum cleaner" every morning at 7 o'clock. The water is clean and does not smell like bleach at all. The sun loungers and umbrellas around the pool are new, everything works fine, you can also relax on sofas with pillows. In general, everything is created for the convenience of vacationers, this is a fact. After hanging out in the village of Bali for a couple of days, we decided to contact the tour agency BAZADZHI TRAVEL. (saw advertising compatriots in the reviews). Initially, we thought: first we will go to the Cretan evening and if we like the organization of the evening, then we will turn to them for other excursions. However, it didn't turn out the way we wanted. The so-called "Cretan evening 2012". . . I will describe what it is. Larisa and Alexander (as I understand it, the owners of the tour agency) brought us to the village in a minibus. The transfer to the village was wonderful, but, however, we did not hear anything about the history of the village, about the wonderful, very beautiful church that is located there, about the customs of the locals. Absolutely nothing informative. Played only pleasant music and drove almost silently. On the spot we were brought to a huge hall with tables and a "stage". The "performance" began - 2 men and 2 girls came out. There are no costumes, the level of amateur art in the village, they danced 2 or 3 dances. . . then there was a killer scene "how a man returned home after meeting his friends. " . . To put it bluntly - mediocre and stupid. I’ll write in a separate line: the food was disgusting, and the wine was terrible, cloudy, with an unpleasant smell. . . Although Larisa claimed that this is a young Greek wine. . . Horror. After my statements, crayfish were brought to me. I take it it was only for the picky type of me. The rest were content with what they gave. In general, we were in shock, and we are not alone. From the bewildered looks of our two women, we understood that we were not the only ones who were such dissatisfied picky people, but we were simply embarrassed to express it. The Cretan evening shown to us is the usual hack. This is the most pleasant definition for the Cretan evening. Even if I am destined to once again visit the wonderful place of Bali - I don’t have a foot in BAZADZHI TRAVEL. that's for sure. After discussions and torment, we still turned to another travel agency. (close to the Galini tavern). For obvious reasons, I don’t write the name so that I won’t be accused of black PR, so to speak. We visited 4 main excursions - we were satisfied with the work of the guide, the transfer and the rich program. And finally, we again took the Cretan evening!! ! Guys, it was amazing! Costume performance, mini performance, huge hall with good lighting, SHOW in one word!! ! That's the difference for you. Summing up, I am delighted with Greece, the village of Bali and a nice hotel!! ! Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about the BAZADZHI TRAVEL travel agency. Bypass them if possible...
