I will immediately note that, in my opinion, the negative features of this hotel were inherited by the Grecotel chain, because. the hotel was acquired by the chain not so long ago and, in fact, a small renovation was carried out. It is possible that some members of the old team stayed to work in this hotel, hence the somewhat unexpected nuances for the excellent Grecotel chain.
The main advantages are:
- location (there is a place to wander around, conveniently located to start traveling by car around the island);
- cleanliness of the territory;
- large and well-groomed territory of the hotel;
- most rooms with sea view;
- clean beach and sea, there is where to snorkel;
- the presence of various entertainment on the beach (canoes, catamarans, boats, water skis, jet skis, etc. , some of which are free);
- friendly people and staff;
- the desire of the staff to help (special thanks to Anna and Yulia at the reception);
- a bungalow where there are not so many neighbors;

- good sound insulation (in a bungalow);
- a wonderful selection of alcoholic drinks at the bar, delicious local wine (including in the main restaurant);
- a wide range of food in the main restaurant, including a variety of local dishes, and a decent quality of this food;
- Possibility to choose an a la carte restaurant for dinner;
- good guys in the animation group, evening entertainment programs;
- a good and not very expensive spa (wife used);
- good tennis courts;
- the presence of a washing machine in the hotel (free use);
- Free large parking next to the hotel.
Of the minuses can be noted:
- indeed, the main part of the beach is not very large, but "our" people are also to blame, who run before breakfast (some manage to take sunbeds in the evening);
- rather high prices for "extra", but we did not even find the need to buy something "extra";
- slightly outdated rooms for 5 *, but not critical;
- empty mini-bar in the room and non-replenished water in the room;
- bad juices (if you can call them that), it remains to drink water or sweet carbonated drinks (from soft drinks);
- the inability to take a kettle and iron in the room;
- if settled in a room with two separate beds, then the staff will not puzzle over a replacement, they will simply offer to lay a blanket under the bed and then after your prompt));
- no Wi-Fi in the rooms (very bad! );
- little security around the hotel (there was a case with a drunk guest, guess what nationality : ), so the security did not even come to calm this bad person).
Conclusion on the hotel: quite a normal hotel in terms of "price-quality". If you want better, then you should choose the same Grecotel Creta Palace, but there is no all-inclusive system and it will cost more. It should also be borne in mind that the hotel has about 70-80% of vacationers with children of different ages, and if you eat without children, then do not expect peace.
