We stayed at the hotel in the second half of September 2010. We lived in the main building on the 4th floor. The room is spacious and comfortable, good view from the window. All rooms in the main building have Front Sea View. The rooms are cleaned very poorly, they only carry a rag in the middle of the floor, change towels, make the bed and that's it. Dust, cleaning in the bathroom, apparently, is the responsibility of the guests. The maids enter the room at their convenience, despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign. Our newlyweds, who came on their honeymoon, were lifted out of bed by the maid. One morning, the maid made it clear to us that if we did not leave the room within 15 minutes, she would not clean our room. The main impression of the hotel is theft in the rooms. No one looks at the reception for the handed over keys. The key lies "in the public domain" for quite some time until it is removed. The keys are issued without looking at the guest card, called the room number - get the key. During our stay, five rooms were robbed (with whom we personally communicated). The police were there, fingerprinted the door. The general manager of the hotel put All-Inclusive straps on the victims and one day they gave out the keys by asking for a card or checking it on a computer. This concludes the security measures. Near the hotel, 100 meters away is the federal highway, in the evening and at night you can hear the noise of cars in the room. And mosquitoes! On the Internet we read about mosquitoes in Crete, took fumitox with us. But our fumitox did not take their mosquitoes, they bought a local one, but there was no sense from the local either. So at night the mosquitoes got out. The territory of the two hotels (Crete Marine and Crete Panorama) is common, large and well-groomed. There are practically no beaches, four artificial bays. Our hotel has very small impressions that you swim in the sea, no. Good for parents with small children. We went swimming in a nearby hotel and on a wild beach outside the territory. Sunbeds on the beach are paid - 4 euros. But when it was windy for several days and the sea had big waves in the bays, it was comfortable to swim. We ate at the main restaurant. The food was delicious and varied. Waiters in restaurants and bars are friendly and efficient. Fruits were always and in unlimited quantities. Moreover, fruits and cakes, and when they took the car, then cheese and sausage could be taken out of the restaurant. I specifically approached their head waiter and he replied that it was possible. At first, for breakfast, they tried to drink some rubbish from teapots under the guise of coffee. We got caught once, and then asked to bring freshly squeezed orange juice. Alcohol in the bar aroused suspicion of dilution. The hotel is secluded. Within walking distance (15 min) availability is only a mini-market with the most necessary. Immediately behind the hotel, a red-red stony desert begins on which even grass did not grow. The main vacationers are Russian couples of different ages. Wouldn't go a second time.
