So we flew from Iberostar Greta Panoramas. We were satisfied with the rest!! ! And now, in order. We went with my husband and son, who turned 2 years old at the hotel. 4 days before departure (we flew away on September 9), I wrote a letter to the hotel - asking if possible to provide me with a room overlooking the garden, so that I was not in the noisy side of the hotel, because. we have small child. Having reinsured myself, I also called the hotel. The reception desk told me that they would fulfill my request. We flew with Aeroflot, flew back and forth - without delay. So, if possible, choose airlines - take either Aeroflot or Transaero, but not Wim Avia. All tourists who flew Wim Air had delays of up to 10 hours !!!
Upon arrival at the hotel, we were given a room - a separate VIP villa, overlooking the garden and the sea, with its own pool inside the villas, quiet and beautiful. Yes, even in the room was a fruit basket and a bottle of wine! We were very touched.
The area is very beautiful and clean, it's nice to walk barefoot on the grass. The staff is well-trained, Russians are very fond of, vacationers are mostly British, Italians, Germans and 10% Russians. There were 2 Russian-speaking people in the hotel - Emma from the animation (a girl from the Baltic states), and Natalya from the buffet of the main restaurant. The animation is very cool, tourists are entertained all day. Of course, you need to know at least a little English, and then there will be no problems at all. I really liked the children's animation. From 1.00 - 12.00 and from 15:00 to 17:00 a child from 3 years old can be left in a mini club, they are engaged there, and every evening from 20:30 a children's disco. At the end of the disco, a big dog came on stage (of course, one of the animators dressed in a dog costume) and the children were generally delighted! As for the food - everything is very tasty and varied. I brought 2 cooler bags with baby Agusha, meat puree, etc. with me. And so I left it all in the fridge. Not useful. The children's table was very decent - milk, and french fries, soup, some kind of fish fillet, chicken, fish fingers, rice, mashed potatoes, kebab cutlets, various vegetables....My baby was not hungry. Every evening at the entrance to the main restaurant - some kind of buffet. Either a martini and a snack for it, or champagne, or UZO (national vodka), or some kind of cocktail. On September 11, we celebrated the birthday of a 2-year-old baby. The waiters and the chief manager of the restaurant brought a cake (the name of the child was written on it) and champagne. They sang a song and my baby blew out the candle. everyone around applauded. It was very nice. And upon arrival in the room, another cake and a bottle of champagne were waiting for us. My husband and I did not expect this at all! All restaurant staff are very attentive to children. And they will bring a high chair and even play with the child. I liked to dine better at the restaurant by the pool. There is more choice of meat dishes for lunch than in the main restaurant, but there is no soup. The fruits were sea-apples of 2 varieties, pears, plums, peaches, nectarines, grapes, melons, watermelons, bananas. Separately, there was a table with Greek cuisine, a separate table for vegetarians, a table with different nuts - cashews, walnuts, hazelnuts, peanuts. Oh, as I remember - I want to go back. There were never any queues! Food as it was completed - they brought it right away. Ice cream in 5 versions (tuber, vanilla, chocolate, kiwi, apricot). Wine - white and red, beer is very tasty As I wrote earlier - Natasha works in the buffet, she has been with her husband in this hotel for 7 years. So you can contact her if there are any problems. Although I spoke with the hotel's chief manager, he said that next season the hotel's recruitment plans would definitely include Russian-speaking employees.

About the territory: as I wrote, it is large, it is convenient, there is where to take a walk and it seems to be less people. Near our villas there was a swimming pool - quiet, calm, a Greek woman Maria works in the bar. A very pleasant woman. I already knew who was drinking what, and when we approached, she poured everything with a smile. Yes, something else struck me - I arrived with a terrible cough (I caught a cold in Moscow), and while sunbathing heavily near the pool, I coughed, and so, the next day, Maria gives me Cough medicine!! ! She bought it at the pharmacy. And this mixture helped me on the 2nd day, which can not be said about our medicines (drank both Bromhexine and Tusin, and everything was mediocre). It can be seen and right we have a lot of fakes. That's how purely in Russian - a Greek woman reacted to the misfortune of a Russian person! Let's get back to our sheep : ))) Another pool is a large one with a children's section and a bar. All the animation takes place there, music plays, it is noisier and more fun there. The third pool is located near other bungalows, there are mostly only Italians, and in the bar at that pool from 15:00 to 16:00 cakes, freshly squeezed juice, liver, in a word, various sweets. There, in the afternoon, animation holds a bingo contest. The winner gets a bottle of champagne. And one more thing - near the mini club there is a swimming pool for kids. There is a maximum depth = 90 cm. Yes, upon arrival at the hotel you will have 2 bottles of water in the refrigerator (according to the number of people). This is only on the day of arrival - No one else will fill the mini bar. But on the territory of the hotel there are water coolers everywhere, and you can collect this water as much as you want. And now about the beaches: there are 3 of them. We went to the one in the middle, where the sand is. very convenient that the beach is fenced with huge boulders. You can swim almost always, even when the sea is stormy, in this bay it is quiet and calm. In 2 weeks I have never seen dirty water!! ! Be sure to bring your masks. There, of course, there is no Red Sea - but still there are a lot of fish, mostly herring families and a lot of sardines. Once I saw an igloo fish. After 11:30 a "tax collector" comes to the beach to withdraw money for sun loungers. 2 euros for 1 sun lounger with umbrella. We usually went to the pool at this time. Yes, in all pools SEA WATER!!! ! this is cool! The sea is clean and transparent. If you stand for a long time, then small fish bite your legs. We fed them from the pier with our son with buns from the restaurant. It was fun. The first beach is rocky, there is sand on the beach, and large pebbles in the sea. Hedgehogs are usually found at depth, I swam with a mask and I'm sure of it. As for rubber shoes, we brought everything with us, as we are diving, we took diving socks and boots. And so for information - in the store at the hotel, men's and women's rubber slippers cost 5-7 euros. Children's circle and armlets from 5 euros. so everything can be bought and not expensive. The shop at the hotel is good: a souvenir bottle of UZO costs 4.5 euros, postcards for 25 cents with 2 stamps (for Moscow). T-shirt in the same place for 8-10 euros.
Given that we have a small child - we could not travel around the island. It didn’t make sense to rent a car, we didn’t need it for the whole day, but it’s ridiculous to take it for half a day, we took a taxi to Rethymnon. It costs 18 euros one way. It takes 20 minutes by taxi. They bring to the Venetian fortress, from there a beautiful view of the sea and the Ida mountain range. There are many beautiful streets with numerous shops, where we collected various souvenirs and a lot of things (there were sales of the summer collection). Walk 1.5 hours around the city - and take a taxi home. Our baby could not stand it anymore. There was also a small tram-train from our hotel. It costs 2 euros to get to the village of Panormo, it takes 10 minutes. small village Panorma. 3.5 streets, 2 supermarkets (my husband concluded that alcohol is cheaper in them than in Duty Free! ), yogurts, like our Rostishka, cost 4 pieces there for 1.70 euros, and a bunch of cafes at the beach. Once you can go (for the sake of diversity). In general, this train goes further than Panormo - deep into the island, to some caves (I forgot the name). So for the kids, this trip is a joy. Summing up: the hotel is quite suitable for families with small children, for couples, it will be boring for young people, there was a disco until 2 am, but there were few people on it, basically everyone sits in bars, drinks, smokes, plays slot machines (2 euros per game). Yes, you can’t swim on the beaches at night! The gate to the beach is closed at night. So if you want to calmly, comfortably relax, lie down, sunbathe, have a delicious meal - you are in this hotel. The only thing - still learn English gentlemen! After all, we live in the 21st century. Everyone in the world knows English, why are we worse? ! It's nice to communicate with people from other countries, to make new friends. And yes, it will be easier for you. And I am finishing my letter - I can write about this hotel for a long time, every day was interesting and entertaining. We will definitely fly there again next year - we will take our grandmother and eldest daughter, and we will travel everywhere with my husband and see everything. The island is a fairy tale!! ! If you have any questions about the hotel - write, I will be happy to answer. Greetings to all from Vita and little Vitenok (who rested with us from 09.09 to 09.23, 2007).
