This was our first acquaintance with Greece. When buying vouchers, we looked at the photos of the hotel, read the reviews and decided that for the money for which we bought vouchers, we would not have to expect anything supernatural.
We flew to Crete, the transfer was fast and interesting. The hotel welcomed us very warmly and seated us immediately. We liked the 40 sq. m. duplex room right away. The sea is a 3-minute walk from the hotel, however, you need to cross the road. The sea is clean, warm, in some places there are stones, but you can find a place where the entrance to the sea is sandy. The beach itself is municipal, sunbeds and umbrellas are paid (about 5-6 euros will cost), but we lay on our towels and it suited us.
On the territory of the hotel there is a swimming pool with very warm water, where both children and adults enjoyed relaxing.

One thing can be said about food - they didn’t remain hungry, there were meat, fish, potatoes, pasta, rice, vegetables, salads, fruits. Tea, coffee, juice in the morning for free, only water for dinner. You can buy Greek wine (1 euro) or beer (2-3 euro) for dinner.
Opposite the hotel there is a night club (all the fun starts at 1 am) and the locals diligently dissuaded us from going to this club. In general, for those who want to find adventure in their 90s, then, in principle, you can go there. We didn't take risks.
We went to Rethymnon several times. By bus, the journey takes 15-20 minutes. We went to the market, walked around the city itself. The night city is much livelier and more beautiful than the morning one. Lots of cafes, bars, clubs, shops.
We went on excursions: to the Palace of Knossos (although we didn’t buy a ticket from a hotel guide, but at a local travel agency - it turned out to be 25 euros cheaper, and in principle, we didn’t lose anything), and on the Cretan evening - we got a free excursion, because you need to be friends with Greeks : )))))))))) Quite an interesting tour, Greek dances, food, folk costumes, music - I liked everything.
If in general to give an assessment of the hotel (it would be more correct to say apartments), then if you go together and don’t get to know anyone, it will be boring, since there is no animation. If you go with a company, then you can go to Rethymno at least every evening, hang out there, and live in Limas, because compared to other hotels, the prices here are much lower. If you want a relaxing holiday, the sea, the beach, the sun, lie down by the pool, sunbathe, then it is quite suitable.
Greeks are a very friendly nation. The Russians are treated very well.
We really liked Greece and the Greeks. Didn't want to leave.
Regards, Anna.
