Lovely October holiday at Palladion. We only stayed for a week and were very pleased with the hotel. For a long time they did not dare to take the top three, but upon arrival they did not regret it. The hotel fully justifies its status. Friendly friendly staff, the hotel is on duty hotel guide from the tour operator. Unfortunately, we did not have time to use the excursions, but in principle, general information and help in orienting on the spot from the guide helped us a lot. Linen is changed every three days, cleaning daily. The food is decent, picky people can, of course, complain about the variety, but we didn’t go hungry. We were pleased with the vegetable cuts, an abundance of salads. The half-board system suited us perfectly, although after large lunch portions in Greek taverns, there was sometimes no room left for dinner. Internet is free in the rooms. There is also a safe, refrigerator, hair dryer, TV with satellite TV in the room - in general, everything you need.
The big pluses of the hotel are proximity to the beach (across the road) and excellent location - in a quiet, peaceful place, but if you wish, you can drive to Rethymno in 15-20 minutes. In addition, the hotel itself is located in a resort village where you can have a good rest and take a walk.
The pool at the hotel is small, but we hardly swam in it. Still, they came to the sea. About the shower I can say - tolerable. Yes, this is not a bath and the trays could be larger, but we decided not to focus on such trifles and were content with the shower we got : ) In general, we were very pleased with the trip, including the hotel. In Greece, not the first time, but in Crete for the first time. We are already planning our next trip this summer, but already to other islands. Greece is very nice.
