The hotel was disappointing, but the rest, in general, was a success

I was very upset when I saw the room: not too clean, dishes with fingerprints, an incredible stench around. . . The master's children, accustomed to gifts from tourists and therefore expecting something from everyone who passes by. No breakfasts. As a result, we scored on them and simply bought all sorts of cuts in stores, fortunately, there was a kettle in the room. Yes, what else: an uncle with a rented car came to us, so his owners just screamed out. It turns out that they have an agreement concluded only with our operator (as usual, at exorbitant prices), and the rest here - no, no. The main disadvantage: the owners speak VERY bad English. Although, it is likely that they can, and they pretend that they do not understand. A friend who came with us did not work in the room, sorry, the descent in the toilet. The whole week that he lived there, he tried to convey this to them. Or move to another room. Useless. They smile and don't understand. But since we only showed up at the hotel to spend the night, it didn’t really bother us. The backlight in the pool turned on the first two days, and nothing more. Then - total darkness. We changed our linen three times in two weeks. . I can’t recommend this hotel to anyone, although there is still one plus: next to it is the Eleven tavern (the name is simply explained: 11 km from Rethymnon). We became very good friends with its owners and we still correspond with each other.
