Прекрасный солнечный остров. Beautiful sunny island.

Good afternoon! This summer we visited Crete for the first time, a beautiful sunny island. We rested in the city of Rethymnon, which is located in the west of the island, at the Zantina Hotel.
The hotel is small, about 20 rooms, very well maintained and comfortable. The rooms have everything you need for life - a small refrigerator, cabinet, wardrobe, bed, air conditioning. There is always hot water in the shower, no problem.
Zantina is located on the waterfront, and not far from the old town. Walk to the sea for a minute.
Breakfast at the hotel is good, but monotonous. Always one kind of ham, cheese, yogurt, tea, coffee, etc. If we left early for an excursion, our hotel guide ordered us an early breakfast.
Wifi only works at the reception. They contacted relatives via viber or skype. The internet worked very well.

We want to say thanks to our hotel guide - Daria, she always helped us, answered all questions regarding our holiday. We also went on an excursion to Santorini - an air tour, very convenient, because our flight was only 25 minutes, and we had a lot of free time on the island. If you are going to Santorini - we recommend an air tour, it is much more convenient than on a ship that sails for more than 3 hours
In general, the rest was excellent, we are satisfied with everything, we will definitely return to Crete again!
