На Родосе On Rhodes

At the end of May, I went with my wife and two sons (7 and 9 years old) for 2 weeks to Greece, to the island of Rhodes, to the Atlantica Club Aegean Blue hotel (Kolymbia). The hotel is good with the accommodation system (small houses with several rooms), green well-groomed territory and staff ready to help you without bribes and scandals, whether it's a broken hose in the shower or connecting a laptop to the hotel's WiFi. It can be seen that the hotel manager is engaged in training and education of employees. It's nice.

Another plus is the location in a beautiful bay. The hotel's beach is limited by a rock on one side, so there are no vacationers from neighboring hotels on the left. The beach is sandy and pebbly, after two or three meters from the water's edge, a fairly quick descent down. Very young children are not particularly bought up, they are better off in the children's pool, and our guys were happy to swim and snorkel.


The hotel has a children's club from the travel agency through which we bought the ticket - Natalie Tours.
My sons enjoyed going there on days when we weren't traveling (we rented a car). Russian young animators worked there, Olga and Sveta, and worked with a twinkle - the children have not forgotten their names until now. All competitions and entertainment in the club are stylized as pirates, maps, treasures, piastres...What else do the boys who have already read Stevenson and Verne need?

By car, we visited the Ionite fortress city of the XIII-XIV centuries (very impressed), the Lindos acropolis, built in the Bronze Age (it was visited by the Apostle Paul), the capital and its fortress and several monasteries. Of course, they didn’t cover everything, but this is a reason to return again. Rest was a success.
