We went as a family for a week. After the stuffy Peter, Rhodes met with a fresh sea breeze, which, however, soon transformed into a sultry heat. We got to the hotel pretty quickly, despite the fact that we stopped at a couple more hotels along the way. Although the guide warned that the check-in may have to wait, the room was given immediately. I must say that the rooms are simple, without frills. At first we were even a little disappointed, but after a couple of hours we settled down, laid out things and it became very comfortable)
The restaurant has a good, varied cuisine, on the buffet there is not only a standard "hotel" set, but also national Greek delicacies). There were a lot of people, but there was always a free table.
Separately, I want to say about the staff: very responsive guys! I don’t know if this is a national character trait of the Greeks, or good management, in any case it’s nice) There is a Russian girl at the reception, but even if you don’t get into her shift, you won’t remain misunderstood. Yes, and the representative of the tour operator in the hotel is, helps with translation and other issues.

Mooooore) ah, the sea! Transparent, quiet. For all the time that we were here, we did not notice the waves. Sunset is normal, stones are sometimes found, but they can be easily bypassed. There are enough sun loungers for everyone, but some compatriots, out of habit, still try to book a place for themselves from the early morning, leaving a towel.
The location of the hotel was also good. Nearby there is a small shopping center, within walking distance of the water park (although we did not visit there, there was not enough time). But we got to a pretty little church on the hill opposite the hotel. There is an observation platform with a stunning view of Faliraki. But it is better to go in the evening when it is not hot.
We didn’t stay at the hotel, we tried to travel more, go on excursions, but when we arranged a “day off” at the hotel, we didn’t get bored either. If during the day it is a little lazy to participate in the activities held by the animators, then by the end of the day all the people are pulled up to the evening shows of the program.
Summing up, I will say that in Rhodes in general and in Grekotel in particular, you can relax wonderfully. I don’t know if we will come back here again, because I want to see other islands
